DENVER – Funeral services for a pregnant Colorado woman and her two daughters, who were killed earlier this month and dumped at an oil and gas site will be held Saturday in Pinehurst, North Carolina.The family of 34-year-old Shanann Watts, her daughters, 4-year-old Bella Marie and 3-year-old Celeste Cathryn, and Shanann’s unborn child, which the family said was going to be called Nico, announced in the Sandhill Sentinel that funeral services would be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst.“She was out pride and joy, a true gift from God,” Shanann’s father and mother, Frank Rzucek and Sandra Onorati Rzucek, wrote in her obituary. “We were so blessed to have such a joyful and wonderful daughter whose beauty was that of a doll.”The obituary says Shanann battled Lupus during life and that Celeste’s birth was exciting because of her struggle with the disease. (KGTV) — While concerts are on hiatus during the pandemic, the Del Mar Fairgrounds will host several "concerts in your car" this fall.Acts including Dirty Heads, DJ Snoopadelic (aka Snoop Dogg), Slightly Stoopid, The Beach Boys, and more will take the stage at Del Mar between Sept. 25 and Nov. 1. Concerts will be held on a high, theater-in-the-round style, four-sided stage to give concertgoers a view of the show from any direction.Ticket prices for vehicles range based on the concert and which color-coded section you select. Many of the concerts start at per car for the furthest section from the stage. DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) — While a hotly-debated gun show is returning to the Del Mar Fairground, its future remains clouded after a recently signed law. The Crossroads of the West gun show returned to the fairgrounds Saturday, two months after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill banning the sale of guns and ammo at the venue. That law doesn't take effect until 2021, allowing the gun show to continue until then."It's been a mainstay for 30 years in San Diego and a small group of extremists tried to get it canceled and were successful for just a few months last year, but fortunately the courts stepped in and said, 'no you can't discriminate against a group based on what they described as their culture," Michael Schwartz, executive director of San Diego County Gun Owners, told reporters Saturday. Assembly Bill 893, introduced in February by State Assemblymember Todd Gloria (D-78), argues California shouldn't have a role in facilitating gun sales. Gov. "The state just shouldn't have a role in facilitating the flow of guns into neighborhoods where children are killed." "But we're very confident that the court's going to see that this type of discrimination against this group of people — that they simply consider undesirable — is not right. "The fairgrounds is a state-owned, regional asset and just because one city decides they don't like a culture, that doesn't mean that they can kick them out of town ...
