SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Del Mar may be the county's smallest city, but it has no shortage of workers commuting in every day to serve its residents and tourists.They're coming from as far away as Oceanside, La mesa, and Rancho Penasquitos. It's because the city - with a median home price of .7 million - has no affordable housing. "If they could live here and walk to work we'd get all kinds of benefits from that," said Del Mar Mayor Dwight Worden. To help make that happen, Del Mar may start charging developers of condos and condo conversions fees by the square foot. That could add to more than a hundred thousand dollars per project for affordable housing. Right now developers of those projects pay a flat fee of ,500, which hasn't been updated since 2007.The city council is considering a per square foot charge for existing construction and per square foot for new construction.The money would either go to expanding Del Mar's rent subsidy program, which currently assists five families in the city.Worden, however, said he prefers physical units because they are there forever. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Governor Gavin Newsom and the state Attorney General California officials served a cease-and-desist letter to two San Diego strip clubs operating amid the state's stay-at-home order.The letter to the attorneys representing Pacers Showgirls and Cheetahs Gentleman's Club said the state has been informed the locations are operating indoors despite restrictions forcing restaurants to offer only take-out and delivery services under the order.The letter was sent by state Attorney General Xavier Becerra on behalf of Governor Gavin Newsom and the Department of Public Health."We are informed and believe that MIDWAY AND F-12 are continuing to conduct indoor operations notwithstanding the Regional Stay at Home Order currently in effect in the County of San Diego. The 10News/Union-Tribune scientific poll comes one week before the March primary, in which voters will head to the polls for the first time since Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter resigned in January after pleading guilty to one count of felony campaign fraud. The poll, of 552 likely voters, shows Campa-Najjar, the lone household Democrat, leading the field with 35 percent of the vote. Former Congressman Issa, a Republican, comes in second with 21 percent, with former San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio at 15 percent. The poll had 12 percent undecided and State Sen.
