Photos show what appears to be a person dressed like Hitler at a Halloween event near Las Vegas.The pictures were snapped during a trunk-or-treat Halloween event at Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City, Nevada on Friday.Folks noticed someone dressed up as Hitler, down to swastikas on the side of his sleeve.The posts quickly spread over the weekend across many Boulder City and Las Vegas Facebook pages.The 12-year-old boy’s father said his son was studying World War II and the evil dictator at school.He says his son just wanted to wear the costume. Police say there is no ongoing threat to safety after four Wisconsin high school students were caught plotting a school shooting on Facebook Messenger.Four juvenile suspects from Eau Claire took part in the group chat, which police say indicated that "a mass shooting would occur at Memorial High School on Monday, March 26." The group chat included photographs of guns and "several specific statements" related to a planned shooting.All four are students at Memorial and have been referred to Eau Claire County Juvenile Intake for making terrorist threats.Eau Claire Police say the threat was originally reported on March 16. Officers and school staff worked quickly to follow-up by interviewing "many students, parents, and faculty members."The four students will not be returning to Memorial High School, police say. 837

The K-12 school for high functioning students with autism just had an important gift taken away.It's an empty field right now but the plan was for Gateway Academy to remove all of the bushes and gravel to make room for a brand new adaptive playground. The cost of entire project would be picked up by a very generous donor."We thought we had found an angel who understood the population and who's ready to give generously," said Robin Sweet, the school's executive director. "Not so much."That donation, ,000. How much the school has seen of that money? Nothing."Before I signed the purchase order I called him again just to make sure," said Sweet.That donor backed out. Now the school is left with a massive bill, a playground that's sitting in storage on pallets and students who are disappointed."Guess what,  don't see anything out here," said Joseph, an eighth grader at Gateway.  "It's not just to have fun. OTAY MOUNTAIN, Calif. (KGTV) — A Border Patrol agent and one man were taken to a nearby hospital after suffering heat-related illness on Otay Mountain.At about 1 p.m., Border patrol agents started a rescue involving four individuals, including one Border Patrol agent and three suspected migrants, according to U.S. Border Patrol.When agents arrived, an agent as located and taken to the hospital. One man was also found and sent to the hospital.Border agents were still searching for the two other people in the Otay Mountain Wilderness area, according to Border Patrol. 579

Police bodycam footage shows a man body-slamming a suspect who was resisting arrest in Provo, Utah, police said.Officer Austin Williams was responding to a Sam’s Club on July 24 for a welfare check when a man attacked the officer, then fled on foot.As he was fleeing, bodycam video shows an unidentified man lift the suspect in the air and slam him to the ground."Chief Ferguson wants to thank that person for coming to the aid of an officer in need.
