CORONADO (KGTV) - The trailblazing woman who became the first female coach in the National Football League is bringing her football camp for girls to Coronado.Her "Grrridiron Girls" event will be held Sunday, June 3 at Tidelands Park. CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) - About 100 people came to worship at Glorietta Bay Park in Coronado on Friday.The 'Saturate OC' event was held by a Southern California congregation. They hold worship services and baptisms along beaches and waterfronts.It is the second 'Saturate OC' event in San Diego County in back to back weeks."It would be hard to understand if you're not a believer, but we prayed about it, and thought this was the next place we were supposed to come," said Parker Green, co-director for 'Saturate OC.'They held a worship service in Oceanside on Aug. 28, which drew hundreds of people. There were people seen not wearing face coverings or social distancing at that event.Green says they have face coverings at the event to people who want them. They also provide hand sanitizer. He also added he doesn't know of one person that got sick from their events."People can wear masks or not, we tell them to bring masks on our social media, but I think the crowd we tend to draw would be folks that would wear a mask in a public setting, especially outside," he said.People at the Coronado worship service appeared to be more spaced apart than those in the Oceanside event.Members of the county's Safe Reopen Compliance Team were at the event talking to people. COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- "Tonight, it feels like our tears will never stop and the lump in our throats is (too) big to breathe through," Todd Allen wrote Thursday evening.His son, 2-year-old Brody, became the center of a community-wide September Christmas celebration in their small community just outside of Cincinnati after the Allen family revealed the toddler likely would not survive until Dec. 25. According to Allen, doctors now predict he may not survive until Halloween."There is no easy way to say this but Brody's body is failing him," Allen wrote in the Team Brody Facebook group. "We have been told that Brody may have only days left with us. Our hearts are absolutely broken."Brody was born with a rare brain cancer, the symptoms of which did not emerge until he had developed four serious tumors. After 98 days of treatment, there were five, and doctors at Cincinnati Children's Hospital said they could no longer help. At that time, they predicted he would live no longer than Oct. 5.The family took Brody home and redecorated their house for Christmas, hoping to at least make his last months happy and comfortable. Todd Allen took time off from his job as an over-the-road trucker. When neighbors learned about the out-of-season celebration, they decorated their own homes, sent cards to the family and even held a Christmas parade Sept. 23.Memories of that kindness have helped the family cope with Thursday's news, Allen wrote. As they have in the past, they plan to "trust that God has a plan," keep Brody comfortable and remain grateful for the support of everyone who joins them on their journey."Brody is here," Allen wrote. CLEWISTON, Fla. -- An overturned sugarcane truck has caused the closure of southbound lanes of U.S. 27 near Clewiston Wednesday.Florida Highway Patrol reports that the truck overturned Wednesday morning at the intersection of U.S. 27 and Evercane Road, just east of Clewiston.All southbound lanes were closed while crews clean up the approximately 25 tons of sugarcane that spilled onto the roadway.The roadway has since reopened.No injuries are reported. 468
