(KGTV) - KGTV and Team10 have launched the Transparency Project to allow the public to view case files from San Diego County over the past 10 years where officer involved shootings and law enforcement misconduct cases were investigated. For many of these cases, the officers were cleared of wrongdoing. Others resulted in officers being reprimanded, fired or even charged criminally --- but all of these cases resulted in community reactions. Transparency Project Database: Search officer-involved shootings, law enforcement misconduct casesThese case files were released after Senate Bill 1421 went into effect on January 1, 2019. It requires California law enforcement agencies to make internal reports for officer-involved shootings and major uses of force, officer dishonesty and confirmed cases of sexual assault available to the public. You can view the cases that have been released by the police agencies here. The project includes a searchable database, where you can find cases by the name of the officer involved, the name of the victim/suspect, the department and much more. (KGTV) -- As more states across the country issue "stay at home" orders and closing down schools to curb the spread of Coronavirus, Virginia police are warning families to keep a closer eye on their children's social media habits.Virginia police investigators say they have identified two teenagers caught in a social media video purportedly coughing on grocery store customers and produce.The Purcellville Police Department said the teens admitted to their involvement in the video, but investigators determined that the teens did not cough or spit on customers nor produce"The investigation concluded the teenagers were getting close to other patrons and coughing into their own sleeves, while filming it on their phones," police said.Due to the age of the minors involved, no names or video footage was released. San Diego County school districts providing free meals to students amid coronavirus-related closuresPurcellville police determined that there was no criminal intent and no actual customers or produce were spit or coughed on directly. (KGTV) — Disneyland's "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" expansion will host the park's most complex attraction ever — and possibly at any theme park.During Star Wars Celebration this weekend in Chicago, Disney's Imagineering team dished on "Galaxy's Edge" attractions and the creation of the land.
