Concealed carry permits are offered, and concealed carry without a permit is allowed outside of a city, town or logging camp.The City of Missoula is one area that has enacted tougher gun laws.“My dad was an avid hunter, but we knew better than to mess with his guns,” said Penny Wagenaar. Wagenaar says she has fired an automatic weapon, but she believes in tougher background checks and regulation on those types of guns. “If it shoots a lot what do you need that for?” Wagenaar said. “It’d be just awful if you had to use it to protect yourself and harm somebody else.”One time in his life, Nedens wanted to pull his gun while walking along a road with his wife in their tiny town.“A carload of people came pulling up and swerved into us, trying to scare us off the road and then they went up the road and turned around and came back and tried to hit us from behind and finally stopped.”They got out, six of them, drunk.Nedens says he would have pulled his gun but wasn't carrying. He had a knife though.“I believe if I would have had a gun I would have been, I would have felt a lot safer,” said Nedens. Nedens says he loves guns for their beauty. He owns many he'll never fire. Ghost kitchens are starting to pop up around the country as new ways to get the same food from familiar restaurants. CEO Paul Damico has restaurants in six states. However, with his newest kitchen called Naf Naf, he’s trying something different. “It’s very unique to train your staff that they'll never see a customer,” he explains. “It's a very different business model.” The type of kitchens Damico is describing is what some call “ghost kitchens,” which are strictly a place to cook. There are no servers and no dining rooms. "I've been operating restaurants for 35 years and they're capital intensive, they’re high risk, and they take years to come out of the ground,” Damico says. “This is the complete opposite of that.”Jim Collins’s business Kitchen United houses several ghost kitchens. “This was a culinary school location originally, and the culinary school closed, and it was perfect for us, because it's a bunch of kitchens in a big building,” Collins says. The Kitchen United model helps to efficiently feed the demand of a growing number of people, especially millennials, who want to eat restaurant food but stay at home. "We're really at an intersection, a shift, in the way consumers are dining,” says Collins. “And because consumers are dining in a new way, the restaurant industry can serve consumers in new way.”The company operates locations in Chicago and Pasadena, but they’re expanding. "Maybe one day, the drones are [going to] land at Kitchen United and take our food out to the masses; that would be awesome,” says Damico. 1564

I.M. Pei, the Chinese born architect who was best known for designing the courtyard to the Louvre in Paris, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and the Kennedy Library in Boston, has died at the age of 102, the New York Times confirmed. The cause of Pei's death has not been announced. Pei moved to the United States at age 22, and learned from renowned architects such as Le Corbusier. Pei's first professional design was built in Atlanta in 1949. It was a simple mixed-used facility, which was torn down in 2013. In 1964, Pei was picked by John F. Kennedy's family to design his presidential library. The library ended up taking nearly 15 years to complete. In the 1981, Pei's design of the Louvre's pyramid courtyard opened to the public. During his career, he won many awards, including being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by George H.W. Bush in 1992. Pei was preceded in death by his wife Eileen of 70 years. 946
