Those performers include Leon Bridges, The Chicks, Common, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Billy Porter, Maggie Rogers, Prince Royce, Stephen Stills.The musical artists will be featured across all four nights of the DNC, from Monday, Aug. 17 to Thursday Aug. 20. The convention programming is set to air from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET.President Donald Trump is attempting to counter the DNC with his own campaign events this week. Actor Chadwick Boseman, who played Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown before finding fame as the regal Black Panther in the Marvel movies, has died of cancer.His representative says Boseman died Friday in Los Angeles after a four-year battle with colon cancer. He was 43. Boseman died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side, his publicist Nicki Fioravante told The Associated Press.
