The store also hopes to honor the model and her family.The model’s dress was styled with keys, locks and chains and a small wood burning stove. Romy Meraz finds joy in watering her yard at her home in Bonita."I know the plants are happy and I'm happy for them," said Meraz.It was a different story amid the state-mandated restrictions, when she cut her watering to once a week. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A Pacific Beach gym ordered to close for not adhering to the county's health orders and linked to one community outbreak has reopened.The Gym was forced to close on July 23 for violating public health orders after "the owners/operators of the Gym have acknowledged that they are aware of the Public Health Orders but will not voluntarily comply," according to a copy of the county order. A week after the county ordered the gym to close, a community outbreak was traced back to the fitness center, according to health officials.The county confirmed on Sunday that the gym has been allowed to reopen after altering their facility to be in compliance with health orders requiring that gyms move workouts outdoors. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A man and teen were shot in Linda Vista early Friday while visiting the memorial of another local gunshot victim.San Diego Police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 6500 block of Kelly Street at about 12:30 a.m. Friday. Several witnesses at the scene told officers a man who had been shot was taken in a vehicle that fled the scene.Numerous bullet casings were found in the area.RELATED: Suspect arrested in Linda Vista shooting that left teen deadOfficers headed to Sharp Memorial Hospital to check for a gunshot victim, where they found two men who had been shot. One victim, a 20-year-old Hispanic man, had been shot in the leg and the other victim, a 15-year-old Hispanic male, suffered two gunshot wounds to the buttocks area and one to the leg.Both victim's injuries were considered non life-threatening. Both were uncooperative with police and no suspect information was available, police added.An officer at the scene told 10News the two victims were visiting a memorial set up for 16-year-old Carlos Valdovinos, who was gunned down in the same area in late May. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A new alliance of San Diegans with a mission to end gun violence launched their new collation Tuesday night.More than 200 people were there for the formation of San Diegans for Gun Violence Prevention, made up of four local chapter of national groups:  Brady Campaign, Moms Demand Action, Survivors Empowered and Sandy Hook Promise.”“We really think expanded background checks in every state would go a long way,” said Wendy Wheatcroft, the driving force behind the creation of the coalition. “California definitely has the strongest gun laws and should be an example to the rest of the country, and we’re hoping other states follow suit.”“I want to emphasize all the organization here’s support the second amendment, and we’re not trying to take anyone’s guns away,” Wheatcroft said.Michael Schwartz is with the San Diego County Gun Owners; he says the country before looking at gun laws.
