After aiming for a mid-July relaunch, AMC Theatres said on Monday that it is pushing back reopening nearly 75% of its US locations to July 30. AMC said it hopes to have its remaining locations reopened the following week. The theater chain shuttered most of its locations in March to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. ALLIED GARDENS (CNS) - A man was left with serious injuries after he was struck by a car while trying to cross an Allied Gardens roadway on Sunday, police said.Just before 7:30 a.m., a 28-year-old man was crossing the 6700 block of Mission Gorge Road, heading west, when he stepped off the center divider into the path of a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by a 30-year-old man, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.The pedestrian suffered a fractured lower leg, injuries to his face and head trauma, Delimitros said. According to multiple media outlets, steakhouse chain Sizzler has filed for bankruptcy amid the pandemic.CNN reported the California-based chain filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, which only covers 14 company-owned restaurants, not its international locations or more than 90 franchised restaurants in the US.According to Business Insider, the restaurant filed for bankruptcy due to closing its indoor dining and declining sales.The Wall Street Journal reported that Sizzler USA CEO Chris Perkins also blamed the landlords refusing to abate rent due to an economic impact due to the coronavirus.Sizzler was founded in 1958 and once was one of the casual restaurant chains in the US. 699

Amazon announced that some employees would continue to work from home until the middle of next year amid the coronavirus pandemic."The health and safety of our employees is our top priority, and it will be some time before things return to normal," Amazon said in a blog post on its website.
