The school’s federal funding is now in jeopardy. The Department of Education has decided to stop providing financial aid to the institution’s parent company, Argosy University. “They tell me everything is going to be fine, but in reality, it's not,” says student Nicholas Roberts. SAN FRANCISCO -- A massive fire broke out at a two-story commercial building in San Francisco Saturday night, according to KRON.The fire started inside the building and spread outward. The blaze took roughly 140 firefighters to extinguish.A total of eight people were displaced by the fire, but no one was injured.The cause of the fire is under investigation. 367

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KGTV) - A gang member was sentenced to more than 126 years in prison Tuesday for the murder of Navy pilot James Celani at Horton Plaza in 2017."This is not living. This is hell," said Celani's cousin, Sean, who was also shot in the incident. "Mr. Morris killed my happiness and my life."Sean, who asked not to have his last name revealed, and Celani were at the Mad House Comedy Club that night. Upon leaving the club, they walked past a group of men, including Morris. Sean said he offered an innocent greeting, "What's up, brother?" At that point, Morris pulled a gun and opened fire, killing Celani and hitting Sean in the leg. Prosecutors say Morris, who has a history of violence, was angry because of a fight that evening with his girlfriend.Celani's wife spoke during a victim impact statement, describing how she and their three children have suffered since her husband's murder. She called for Morris to get the maximum sentence. SAN DIEGO, California — The Christ United Methodist Church's Safe Harbors Network needs help to prepare for the next wave of migrants approaching the US-Mexico border.The network, started in 2016, provides basic necessities for refugees, such as a bed, shower, food, clothes, medical care and legal aid, until their court date."They don't have anything, they have the clothes they're wearing, they don't have phones, they don't have money, they would be homeless, so we take them in," Volunteer Kathryn LaPointe said.In 2016 the majority of their refugees were Haitian, over the past several months they're mostly women and children from Central America."We're taking in between 20 and 30 a night the past few days, most of them were able to send to their families, but I would like to help more people," LaPointe said.Sunday, LaPointe said they're at capacity and need all the help they can get. "Every person that walks in front of me, I ask for a building," she said laughing, "can you please get me a building."The network is comprised of individuals, congregations and organizations who care for refugees. "[Provide] basic human kindness, and," LaPointe said as she sighed heavily, "I am so grateful to be able to do that to extend that kindness and I would like to extend that kindness to more people." 1351

"I'm trying to think if we should still keep the business, we still gotta pay rent, and we can't even use it."Cage runs the shop, a combination of a barbershop and a hair salon with his wife, Melissa Cage."She's a cosmetologist also; she's in the shop. We got four kids together," he said.After recently reopening and getting back on their feet, the alarming rise of COVID-19 cases and fear of overwhelming hospital systems has resulted in California Gov.
