BUCHAREST, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday proposed that the legislatures of his country and Romania boost exchanges and cooperation so as to help pass on the bilateral friendship from generation to generation.

During the coming days, lawmakers will be briefed about the work of the State Council, including the progress in this year's national economic and social development plan, budget implementation, as well as infectious disease prevention and control.

All investment projects have to follow the country's laws and policies concerning access standard, land use, environmental protection, credit and technology, the statement said.

The meeting is to implement the consensus on China-Vietnam joint development at sea reached during Chinese Premier Li Keqiang 's visit to Vietnam in October 2013, and prepare for the upcoming plenary meeting of Chinese and Vietnamese government delegations on border negotiation.

In his speech at the summit, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak hailed the development of Malaysia-China relations.
