DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Jack Nicklaus says he and wife Barbara tested positive for the coronavirus at the onset of the pandemic. Nicklaus says he and wife Barbara stayed at home in Florida from about March 13 until they were "done with it" on April 20. He says he had a sore throat and a cough, while Barbara had no symptoms of COVID-19. Both turned 80 earlier this year. Nicklaus says given their age, they were "a couple of the lucky ones." Dickson County, Tennessee boy, Joe Clyde Daniels, was beaten to death by his father before his body was disposed of, court documents have revealed. Over the weekend, Joseph Ray Daniels was arrested and charged with one count of criminal homicide in the 5-year-old’s disappearance.According to court documents, Daniels admitted to striking Joe Clyde "repeatedly... with [a] closed fist" until the boy died. He received injuries to his upper torso, head and face.  Daniels then allegedly placed his body in the trunk of his car and disposed of it in a rural area.Joe Clyde had been reported missing last week, prompting the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to issue an endangered child alert.  After several days of searching, the elder Daniels was charged.The boy’s body has not yet been found.Joe Clyde’s grandmother spoke with Scripps station WTVF in Nashville over the weekend, saying that she has been cooperating with law enforcement after her stepson was arrested in the case.“It’s shocking because you raise a child from way back, and you think you know him. DOWNTOWN (CNS) - A man was stabbed Sunday in downtown San Diego, police said.At around 2:20 p.m., two men became involved in a physical altercation near the intersection of C Street and Seventh Avenue, and one stabbed the other twice in the stomach, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.The victim, who was in his 50s, suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Delimitros said.The suspect is described as a man wearing black pants, and he remains at large. 497

(KGTV) - A former El Cajon high school teacher is in custody on suspicion of sexually assaulting five young victims and attempting to lure a sixth, including two students, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said Friday.38-year-old Dustin Sniff, also known as Dustin Stevens, is suspected of multiple counts of assaulting a minor, deputies said. Charges include rape by force/fear and oral copulation by force.The alleged victims were between 16 and 22 years old. Sniff is a former teacher at Christian High School, a private evangelical school in El Cajon. None of the assaults happened on campus, according to investigators.A student told 10News Sniff taught Film and Bible classes, and was well liked.
