SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a door-to-door solicitor who has prompted a string of complaints about threatening outbursts and who was seen on video taking swings at a woman in Pacific Beach.Corey Lamont Terry, 45, is wanted on felony charges of making criminal threats and attempted burglary, according to the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. A warrant for his arrest was issued earlier this month, according to the Sheriff’s Department website.Police have been investigating Terry since at least early November, after “several” people complained about Terry’s aggressive language while soliciting money door-to-door, according to SDPD Lt. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police arrested a man this week on suspicion of vandalizing parked cars in Bankers Hill and East Village. Alexander Galarza, 34, was booked into jail Monday on multiple counts of felony vandalism, according to SDPD Lt. Dan Smyth. Galarza used a pole to break the windows of 10 cars in Bankers Hill late Sunday night, police said. He left the area before officers reached the scene. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County reported 409 new coronavirus cases Thursday and a single-day record of 17 new deaths from the virus.Thursday's new cases had a 4% positive rate out of 10,434 reported tests, according to the county, bringing the region's total to 21,855 cases. The county's new deaths brought the county's death toll to 465. Eleven men and six women died between July 2 and July 15, and their ages ranged from 51 to 90 years of age. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego County Crime Stoppers released photos of a suspect and offered a reward Thursday for tips about an assault in the Midway area. A man parked his vehicle along the side of the Arby’s at 3777 Midway Drive April 6 about 7 p.m., inadvertently cutting off another driver. The man went inside the restaurant and got into an argument with the driver. During the fight, the driver punched the victim in the head eight times, police said. The victim fell to the ground and the driver stomped on his head with his feet, according to investigators. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for an orbital fracture. The suspect drove away from the area, police said. He is described as white, about 30 years old, with a muscular build. The sides and back of his head are shaved, according to officers. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 17-year-old boy with several health problems.According to police, Jeremy Jose Sanchez was last seen by his mother at their apartment on Aug. 23 at around 9 p.m. Police did not disclose what part of the city the boy was last seen.The teen suffers from vision damage, loss of hearing, and has active tuberculosis. Police said he takes medications for his conditions, but he left his home without them.Police said Jeremy was reported as a runaway juvenile at risk due to health conditions.The teen is Latino with a tanned complexion, 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighs around 146 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.Jeremy was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans, and white, red and black Jordan shoes.Anyone with information on the teen is urged to contact San Diego police at 619-531-2000 or 911. 902
