In the video, posted on Facebook, Santa is seen being thrust forward as the float he’s riding on seemingly malfunctions. Luckily, Santa was okay. Later in the video, he can be seen climbing down a ladder on the float uninjured. As hundreds of homeless wait to return to the Alpha Project tent in downtown after it was flooded last week, San Diegans are stepping in to give them a little holiday cheer.ABC 10News reporter Natay Holmes was at SDCCU Stadium on Sunday morning where a local photographer, Abe Barron, and a group of kind-hearted volunteers, donated food and treats to those in need.Their mission is called "X-Mas on the Street." The group got together to make 800 tamales to hand out, along with some festive Christmas cookies. Barron and the volunteers will be at the stadium today until noon. He is accused of shooting and killing two people at a Kenosha protest, the third night in-a-row of unrest in the town. A third person was injured in the shooting and taken to the hospital.The Village of Antioch Police Department said the teen was arrested Wednesday morning.The teen will be charged with first-degree intentional homicide and is waiting for extradition to Wisconsin.The shooting happened just before midnight in an area where police said demonstrations were happening.Police fired tear gas in an attempt to disperse protesters during a third night of unrest in Wisconsin following the shooting of a Jacob Blake, who is now paralyzed.Attorney Ben Crump spoke Tuesday alongside family members of Blake. An amateur artist is raising thousands of dollars for charity with his simplistic portraits of pets.It started when Phil Heckels drew a picture of their family dog as a way to encourage his son to write a thank you note. He uploaded a picture of the portrait to social media calling it “crap”.The drawing featured googly eyes and long limbs. Heckels joked he would sell it for about 0. He was inundated with offers.Now, he says he has more than 1,000 requests waiting for him from people who want him to draw their pets.He has drawn 240 portraits so far.
