SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego police are searching for the person who fired a gun into a group of people injuring two teens late Saturday night.Two groups of people began arguing just before midnight at the corner of 30th Street and J Street in the Grant Hill neighborhood, about a block away from Kimbrough Elementary School.The gunman pulled out a handgun and shot a 16-year-old boy in the left calf and a 18-year-old male in the right ankle, authorities said.A possible third shooting victim was located at an area hospital with undisclosed injuries, according to police. No further information was given at this time.The incident is being investigated as gang-related shooting, police said.The suspect, who was last seen wearing a white tank top and dark shorts, fled in an unknown direction, police said. 831

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Rain runoff has prompted a warning for swimmers, surfers, and beachgoers in San Diego County.As showers move through the area, urban rain runoff may force large amounts of bacteria to wash into coastal waters, including San Diego Bay and Mission Bay, county officials warned Saturday.Any activities in coastal waters should be avoided for 72 hours following rainfall. Depending on the intensity of the storm, elevated bacteria levels could persist.With recent rains also bring a water contact closure for Imperial Beach's shoreline, due to runoff from the Tijuana River. The closure area includes the beach-line from the south end of Seacoast Drive to the International Border.The access road to Friendship Park, within Border Field State Park, may also be affected by river runoff.Signs have been posted warning of the water closure. 861

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police have released video footage after officers shot and killed a murder suspect following a standoff on May 29.The 32-year-old suspect who was shot and killed was accused of shooting and killing another man at a City Heights apartment complex.The video shows officer stationed outside the apartment complex. Watch the full video below:According to police, gunfire was reported at the complex on the 3800 block of Euclid Avenue around 3:30 p.m.Officers later found a 62-year-old Hispanic man with at least one gunshot wound. "Specially trained STAR medics deployed with the SWAT team to provide aid, but the suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are searching for two men believed to be involved in a robbery at San Diego State University Monday night. The robbery happened at 6:42 p.m. near the intersection of Lindeo Paseo and College Avenue. At this point it is unclear if the victim was a student or a community member. The victim told police they were pushed by one of the suspects while walking on the sidewalk.
