A Vero Beach, Florida family woke up to a man stomping on their roof, the Indian River Sheriff’s Office says. When deputies arrived, they say Jacob Futch claimed he was having a meeting with a DEA agent on the roof.The family told deputies that they don’t know Futch, and Futch admitted to not knowing who the agent is, according to an arrest report. A man living in the home told deputies he and this three young sons woke up to Futch yelling, howling and walking down the road around 6 a.m. on Nov. 11.Two hours later, the man says they woke up again after hearing Futch on the roof of his home.When Futch was asked if he was under the influence he said he had injected meth at approximately 2 a.m., an arrest affidavit states.Futch is facing a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. A recent study from Iowa State University’s Food Science And Human Nutrition Department found that eating cheese could help protect against age-related cognitive problems, and drinking red wine led to cognitive function improvements.According to the study published in November's Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, the team analyzed data from 1,787 adults, who ranged in age from 46 to 77, through the UK Biobank. This biomedical database contains in-depth genetic and health details of 500,000 participants.Between 2006 and 2016, participants completed a Fluid Intelligence Test (FIT) and then were assessed in two follow-up tests that gave an in-time snapshot of the participants' ability to think on the fly.The participants also answered questions about their food and alcohol intake, the study showed.According to the study, researchers found that eating cheese protected the most against age-related cognitive problems. It also showed that drinking alcohol daily, red wine, in particular, was related to improving cognitive function.Researchers also found that eating lamb weekly, but not other red meats, improved long-term cognitive prowess, the study showed.The study also found that eating excessive amounts of salt can cause cognitive problems over time. 1270

A teen missing for more than a year after witnessing a murder has been found alive in an Ohio basement, ABC Dayton affiliate WKEF reports.Police believe Jacob Caldwell, 15, ran away from his grandparents, who were granted temporary custody of him and his brothers, after Jacob witnessed his father being shot and killed. Jacob's mother and her boyfriend are among those who have been charged with murder in connection with the slaying. Jacob was last seen on Aug. 21 2017, in front of a Walmart in Sugar Creek Township, located in Green County, near Dayton. 585

He said that it happened on Monday on Bus 201 near Jones Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.Leabu says that the bus driver took the water from his own lunch cooler. Although Las Vegas is no longer under an excessive heat warning, it is still very hot in the valley. Monday's high temperature was recorded as 104 degrees with some areas of the valley being hotter and some areas being a couple of degrees cooler.Earlier this month, the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) was handing out free bottled water at various Las Vegas bus stops. A man wanted in connection with a quadruple murder in Detroit has shot himself, according to police. George Anthony Davis, 27, shot himself near the Ohio Turnpike after leading police on a chase.Police said Davis shot and killed three people, a man and two women, at a gas station iin Detroit Monday morning. The male victim was identified as Deacon Ralphael Hall, leader at a local church, his 26-year-old daughter Cierra Bargineer and 21-year-old Kristen Thomas.Police say surveillance cameras captured everything; a man pulled up in a silver sedan and started talking to people in a gray Dodge SUV. Seconds later, the man in the sedan shot the people in the SUV and shot at the man pumping gas.When he ran out of bullets, he went back to his car to reload, and came back to shoot more. Police say Bargineer was the mother of his child.Second Shooting LocationHe then gets in the car and goes to Faust Street and has a conversation with an adult male cousin and fatally shoots him, police said.  The suspect then goes to a gas station on Faust and takes a 2007 blue Nissan Ultima.Davis was on the run for several hours before police confirmed that he shot himself.
