I was like, 'Oh My God!' Father Son Holy Spirit," she said crossing herself, "and I dropped to my knees."Muno had a career in aviation, performing duties from flight attendant to loading the aircraft and working on flight plans. Just watching the video made her tear up, knowing his safe landing was a miracle."We're all blessed. If I had lost Ryan, but he saved so many people," she said wiping away a tear.Muno said Ryan's been an instructor for two years, pursuing his second dream after a concussion during a baseball game changed his trajectory."When he was a little baby he used to lay down in the first class cabin and just go to sleep," she said he found his love of flying from growing up traveling with her.After his emergency landing, she's not too keen on him jumping back into the cockpit.Last night she urged him to hang out with his friends, or his father, "because if I get you, I'm never going to let you go," she said choking back tears.She said Ryan is probably going to go back to work tomorrow. He is also waiting to hear back from United Airlines. She said he applied to be a pilot with them and hopes to find out if he got the job by next month. 1801

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The City of San Diego is working to transform Little Italy into an outdoor dining experience. They're streamlining the process for shops and restaurants to serve more customers while promoting social distancing under a new outdoor dining and shopping proposal.Marla Encinas had to close her Little Italy clothing boutique, Valmare, for two months. "We tried to do online selling but its definitely not the same," said Encinas. But, for any business, fewer customers often means less revenue. The city of San Diego is trying to change that. On Thursday, Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced a proposal to waive fees and fast-track the permit process to bring restaurants and shops outdoors. "They’ll be allowed to maximize outdoor space to allow physical distancing and expand the number of customers they can serve," said Faulconer. "I think its going to be really cool to be outside in the open air and be able to bring out our business," said Encinas. With approved permits, businesses can set up tables and chairs or racks of clothes and other items on sidewalks, streets, and parking lots. "I would love to do both jewelry and clothing," said Encinas. "I would love to bring out summer stuff because the weather is so nice, people are starting to slowly go out."Last Saturday, Little Italy had their first al-fresco dining event on India Street. By adding retail shops in the mix, more businesses will get a much-needed chance to bounce back from Covid-19. "It's going to be very fun," said Encinas. "You’re going to have a bunch of different vendors, it's going to be different than your typical shopping experience."Businesses can apply for the outdoor dining permits on the city's website. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The Medical Board of California has filed an accusation and petition to revoke the probation of a Del Mar doctor who is accused of prowling in a former girlfriend’s backyard.10News first broke the story about Dr. Jeffrey Lovin in May after we were given home security video showing a man lurking behind a home. An ex-girlfriend said the man in the video was Dr. Lovin, a radiologist. Lovin was charged with prowling, peeking and violating a restraining order. He pleaded not guilty.At the time, Lovin was already on probation with the Medical Board for other criminal activity. This month, the Board issued an accusation and petition to revoke his probation. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The community is coming together for the family of a San Diego mother of two who died this week while acting as a surrogate for another family.Michelle Reaves was helping a family have children of their own, according to a GoFundMe set up to help her family. It was her second surrogacy for the same family when complications arose and she died while giving birth, the campaign explained.The baby Reaves was carrying survived.Reaves leaves behind two children, Gage and Monroe, and her husband, Chris.The organizer of the GoFundMe campaign is hoping the community will "be there for Michelle’s family like they would for us.""I can’t even begin to imagine what her husband Chris and her two babies are going through so I want to start this page to help raise money for help with the kids, for Chris as they all adjust, funeral services, or anything at all to make it as easy as we can on them," wrote organizer Jaime Herwehe. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The mother who reported her 3-year-old son missing in Linda Vista Tuesday morning has been arrested. According to police, Maria Flores was arrested for filing a false police report. Flores reported her son, Kevin Serrano, missing from a home in the 2500 block of Ulrich St. just after 10 a.m., according to San Diego Police.At 3:00 p.m., police reported the boy was found unharmed in the 7500 block of Mesa College Drive. Officers said the child's caregiver called them and said he had been dropped off in the morning.Flores told police that Kevin was last seen at home. Police deployed officers on foot, patrolling on motorcycles, and air resources to help search for Serrano.“This is highly unusual. We’re taking this extremely seriously," police said during a press conference. "The door was unlocked and closed, according to the mom ... The clock is ticking for us, we’re extremely worried." 952
