SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A woman involved in a Lamborghini crash this week has died, the San Diego Medical Examiner (ME) confirmed Wednesday.Stephanie Rivera, 26, was ejected from the crash on North Harbor Drive and Broadway just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 after the driver, identified as 33-year-old Michael Llamas, lost control of the exotic vehicle at a high rate of speed, police said earlier this week.RELATED COVERAGE: 432

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A surfer was found unconscious, face down in the water near Pacific Beach early Wednesday.San Diego lifeguards were notified of the woman in her 30's just after 8 a.m. inside the surf zone at Tourmaline Surf Park.10News spoke to Jason Glover, a paddleboard surfer who set up a robot-camera on the beach to capture surf videos. One of the clips captured the audio of the exact moment bystanders found the woman unconscious.“Hey! Hey! Call 9-1-1,” they said. Fellow surfers immediately pulled her out of the water and started CPR. Lifeguards continued life-saving efforts once they arrived, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Mónica Mu?oz.The woman began breathing again and was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital, but her condition was not immediately known.“They immediately brought her in. But that’s what surfers do. Whenever there’s a crew out here, you know you’re going to be fine because everyone looks after each other,” Glover said.It's unclear what caused the woman to become unconscious. 1042

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Across the state of California, there were more than 10,000 sexual harassment offenses, as defined by California education code that resulted in suspension, expulsion or disciplinary diversion.A San Diego mother says her daughter was bullied and sexually harassed at school.“She said that he would take her pencils from her,” said Myiesha Jackson. “If she tried to get them back he would stick them down his pants."Jackson claims the male student didn’t stop there. She claims he took Play-Doh, made it into the shape of a penis and rubbed it on her daughter while making inappropriate sounds."I consider that sexual harassment,” said Jackson. An investigation report Jackson gave to Team 10 says the accused student admitted to rolling up the Play-Doh and holding it up while singing an inappropriate song that was sexual in nature, and the Play-Doh represented a male genitalia part, but the other student denied touching her with it.At the end of the report, it lists an action play, basically separating both students at all points of the day so they wouldn’t come into contact with each other.Jackson says that’s not what happened."The very day I brought her back she was in lunch, the line to get lunch, and they let him out of the office apparently, and he went and stood directly behind her,” she said.Magnolia Science Academy- San Diego denied 10News’ request for an interview.In an emailed statement an attorney for Magnolia Public Schools wrote:“State and federal student confidentiality laws and our organization's policy prohibit MSA-SD from commenting on specific students or incidents in which they may be involved. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — An 18-year-old San Diego student who has already cemented her place in climbing has now grabbed a historic Olympic accolade.Sunday, Brooke Raboutou, of Boulder, Colo., qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Games to become the first-ever American to qualify for Olympic climbing, according to the U.S. Olympic Committee. The University of San Diego sophomore finished ninth in the combined qualification round at the IFSC Climbing World Championships in Hachioji, Japan, according to Team USA. She had the sixth-fastest time in the speed round and ranked seventh- and tenth in lead and bouldering, respectively.RELATED: Vista skatepark draws 2020 Olympic hopefulsThe Tokyo 2020 games will mark the first time climbing is included as an Olympic sport, following a 2016 vote to add the sport to the Olympic program.She was named to the first U.S. national climbing team earlier this year.In Tokyo, Raboutou will compete in the combined event, which includes competitions for speed, bouldering, and lead. Her final rank will be based on the results from all three events.U.S. athletes will have two more chances to qualify for the 2020 team. Next in the fall at the Olympic Qualifying Event and in 2020 during continental championships. The Tokyo games will take a maximum of two qualifying athletes from each country, featuring 20 athletes per gender.Raboutou has been competing from a young age, beginning her climbing career when she was 7 years old, according to Team USA. At 11, she became the youngest person in the world to complete a 5.14b-grade climb. She is also 2018's lead youth world champion, 2016 combined youth world champion, and 2017's combined youth Pan American champion. Raboutou skills come across as a genetic trait, as her parents were each multiple-time climbing world cup champions and her older brother is also an accomplished climber. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - After eight weeks of rehabilitation, SeaWorld San Diego rescue teams release seven rescued sea lions back into the ocean. Six of the sea lions were malnourished pups when they were first rescued. It took rescue crews about two months to help them regain their strength and nutrients needed. The seventh sea lion was discovered on La Jolla Shores with a shark bite wound to his shoulder. Rescue crews tell 10News they watched him for three days and then took him to their veterinarians because they noticed he wasn't using his left fin at all. After x-rays, SeaWorld San Diego vets discovered several broken bones in his front left fin and his left shoulder was snapped in half. Intense rehabilitation over the past eight weeks has him in good condition to return to the wild Tuesday. During the rescue return trip, General Hospital actress and dedicated animal advocate Carolyn Hennesy joined. Hennesy works closely with the SeaWorld San Diego rescue center and often joins them on return trips. As part of tradition, before animals are released, Hennesy said a few words to the sea lions, "Considering myself part of the SeaWorld family, I will say it was wonderful having you." All seven were released into the ocean about an hour from shore. SeaWorld San Diego tells 10News they've rescued over 600 animals in 2019 already including, 137 sea lions. 1379
