SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Harbor Police are investigating after a boat caught fire early Sunday morning in the San Diego Bay.The department tweeted around 5 a.m. about the fire at Marina Cortez.According to police, a good Samaritan helped put out the fire before units arrived on scene. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Federal investigators are looking for a woman and getaway driver who attempted to rob a South Bay bank last December.A female suspect approached a bank teller just after 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2017, at the Bank of America located at 605 Saturn Boulevard in Imperial Beach. The woman presented a note to the teller, demanding money, according to the FBI.However, the teller refused to comply with the woman's demands.The woman left without any money and met an awaiting driver outside before fleeing the area.FBI investigators described the suspect as a Hispanic woman between 25- and 35-years-old, about 5-feet 6-inches tall, and with medium build. She was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood and gold-rimmed sunglasses.The getaway car is described as a silver Ford Mustang with a black racing stripe down the center. Someone taking up the slow lane on one of the scooters.California vehicle codes prohibit electric scooters on any road with a speed limit of more than 25 miles per hour.CHP officer Jim Bettencourt says he’s even seen them on the Coronado Bridge. A sign clearly states that pedestrians, bicycles and motor-driven cycles prohibited.As drivers go onto the bridge, not even an inch of space exists on the shoulder. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Five people were injured following a crash in Kearny Mesa involving an ambulance Thursday afternoon. According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the crash happened around 2:15 near Kearny Villa Road and Balboa Avenue. According to police, a preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of an Infinity was speeding in a northbound lane on Kearny Villa Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting the ambulance and shoving a Hyundai to the side of the road. The driver of the infinity suffered non-life threatening injuries while his passenger suffered several broken bones and internal injuries considered life threatening. The driver and passenger of the ambulance and driver of the Hyundai all suffered non-life threatening injuries. Everyone involved in the crash was taken to the hospital, police say.
