But thanks to a sharp-eyed employee, the blue lobster was spotted in the restaurant’s tank.Blue lobsters are incredibly rare – only one out of 2 million lobsters are blue lobsters.The nearby Akron Zoo has since taken over care of the lobster, and is preparing a new home for it.“The blue coloration of the shell is the result of a genetic anomaly,” the Akron Zoo said.The lobster has been given the name “Clawde,” which is said to be the restaurant’s mascot. 593

A United States Customs and Border Protection officer is accused of falsely claiming to be a US citizen when he applied for the job, the Department of Justice said. According to DOJ officials, Marco Antonio De La Garza Jr., 37, of Hereford, Ariz. was charged with three counts of passport fraud and false statements on his federal law enforcement background application. The DOJ is claiming that De La Garza knowingly used a fraudulently obtained Texas birth certificate to apply for a United States passport. De La Garza is also accused of using the same birth certificate to claim US citizenship during his background check.It is unknown how US officials were unable to figure out that De La Garza's paperwork was fraudulent.  The charges stemmed from an investigation conducted by  the Department of State-Diplomatic Security Service and the Department of Homeland Security-Office of Inspector General. The DOJ claims that De La Garza was actually born in Mexico. The Associated Press confirmed that he was hired by border patrol in 2012.   1116

A video of a Missoula, Montana Pita Pit employee spitting in a customer's food during what appears to be an argument has gone viral, prompting the restaurant to issue an apology. The video was posted early Saturday morning, and has since been shared more than 5,000 times. The video, which lasts 30 seconds, appears to be during the middle of an argument over the store's hours. In the video, one of the customers apparently dared the employee to spit in the food. Once the employee spit in the food, a customer jumped over the counter briefly. The owner of the Missoula Pita Pit location issued a statement on its Facebook account. "There is no excuse whatsoever for the type of behavior shown by an employee that I can assure you is no longer working for us," the statement read. "This is an owner run store. We work here forty plus hours per week, but we are not in during all hours of operation. This employee’s behavior does not represent who we are as a family or a business. A rare albino deer was caught on video at a park in Oakland County, Michigan over the weekend.The video, posted by Mick McDonald, shows the albino deer in Kensington Metropark in Milford.A photo posted to the Pure Michigan Instagram page in early December also shows an albino deer in Kensington park. A tent being used as a polling location for voters who preferred to not wear a mask in New Hampshire reportedly blew over Tuesday afternoon, injuring a poll worker.The tent for “non-masked voting” was set up outside Bedford High School in Bedford, New Hampshire. Those who wanted to cast their ballot without wearing a mask could do so there, as masks were required inside the school to vote.The weather in New Hampshire Tuesday was cold and windy. A gust blew the tent into the air and it fell over.“If anyone has seen 'The Wizard of Oz' and Dorothy and Toto and everything else, or 'Twister,' yes, unfortunately, we did have an incident,” Bill Klein, town moderator in Bedford, told the New Hampshire Union Leader.The 72-year-old poll worker had a cut on his face and was taken to the hospital to be checked out, according to the Washington Post.
