A Buffalo Public School student’s mother wants answers after she says her son’s teacher dragged him down several stairs. “She was dragging him down the stairs by his knees,” said Tasha Dixon. Dixon says she didn’t witness what happened but someone else did, prompting an internal investigation by the district. “I had received a call from the principal and she said my son had been involved in an incident.” She says her son Malik is in a 611 class, which is for special education students. She says Malik also has a disability. “He asked her to go to the bathroom and she told him no because she felt he didn’t need to go. He sat down and she insisted he move so she took him by the legs and thumped him down a couple stairs.” Dixon says she met with the school principal, who she says indicated an eyewitness came forward to administrators about what happened. During that meeting she says she was told since it happened in a hallway, cameras captured the event, however; she was not allowed to see the video because it is property of the district. “In a closed meeting she said it wasn’t a good video,” Dixon said. “How can you have the audacity to touch my son?” A spokesperson for Buffalo Schools says the district did a month-long investigation and found the claims against the teacher unfounded. The teacher returned to school Friday, more than a month after the incident. Dixon kept her son home from school Friday. We asked the district to see the video. Our request was denied. A gunman killed himself after shooting six people dead and injuring two others at a hospital in the eastern Czech city of Ostrava on Tuesday.One of the victims was shot in an operating theater and later died. The head of the hospital, Ji?í Havrlant, told reporters outside the hospital that all of the victims were patients, and that the suspect was shooting people at close range in their heads and chests.The incident happened just after 7 a.m., according to interior minister Jan Hamá?ek, who added that police and emergency response units were in attendance.Police said the "dangerous armed perpetrator" who was carrying a "short handgun" had fled the scene in a silver-gray Renault Laguna.The 42-year-old suspect later shot himself in the head in the vehicle before officers could bring him into custody, police said."When the police arrived to the site of the car, the suspect was still alive. A landspout tornado briefly touched down in New Jersey on Saturday and the high winds flipped over a car.The tornado moved across a warehouse parking lot in Mount Laurel Township about 2 p.m. ET before overturning the car, the National Weather Service said.It also passed over a nearby warehouse building, causing minor roof damage."Portions of roof material were pulled back causing the roof to bow. Two air conditioning units were torn off the roof. “I have never in 23 years ran across this!”That's how assistant Bristow, Oklahoma police chief Kendra Raney described what happened in the ladies restroom of Walmart on Tuesday. "A Walmart employee requesting an ambulance for a lady that was inside the women's bathroom either having a miscarriage, or having a baby," Raney said. That 911 call triggered emergency responses from multiple agencies, including police, fire and the Creek County Ambulance service. It sent paramedics racing to help.Raney described what first responders found, stating, "I understand the Walmart employees performed lifesaving measures and when the ambulance got there, they transported them both to a Tulsa Hospital."The Bristow Fire Department report shows it paramedics worked on the baby girl for 17 minutes. They gave her oxygen and cleared her airways. Finally, she took breaths on her own and made a weak cry.Why was the baby was born in the Walmart restroom? "Mom stated that she started having contractions about 2:30 in the morning that morning and she didn't think that they warranted a visit to the hospital," Raney explains. "She got up later, got her kids off to school and felt that she needed to use the restroom, so she stopped at the Walmart which the middle school's right across from the Walmart."Raney says the mother felt some pressure and then the baby came out. We asked how the mother and baby girl are doing now. Then she added, "Both are gonna make it."Raney said, the incident is still under investigation.
