Baltimore Police confirmed a man was hit by a light rail train and cut in half at 8:35 a.m. Thursday.The accident occurred at North Howard and West Lexington Street, roughly a block south of the Lexington Market Light Rail stop. Police believe the incident occurred somewhere between Mulberry Street and Saratoga Street, with the person's body ultimately becoming dislodged from the train near West Lexington Street, Baltimore Police Chief Spokesman T.J. Smith said in an update around 10:30 a.m. There were passengers on the train at the time of the incident, Maryland Transit Administration Public Information Officer Paul Sheppard confirmed. Investigators are operating in a large scene that spans Howard Street from Mulberry Street south to Baltimore Street. BORDEN, Ind. — A plane crashed Friday morning in southern Indiana, killing multiple people. According to WHAS, the ABC affiliate in Louisville, the crash happened in Borden, Indiana at about 11:30 a.m., in the 2600 block of Crone Road. The plane that crashed could hold about 10 passengers, Clark County Sheriff Jamie Noel said. No survivors have been located at this time, Noel said. The sheriff's office said there were multiple fatalities, WHAS reported.He said it was very difficult to access the scene of the crash due to it being in a wooded area.  582

BONITA, Calif. (KGTV) -- After more than two decades in business, Giant Pizza King in Bonita is closing its doors. For the last 23 years, the Stephan family has operated the restaurant at the location. Several months ago, they learned their landlord wouldn’t renew their lease, replacing the pizza shop with a Starbucks. “I cannot believe it anyways; my last day is just so hard because I’m here every day, seven days a week,” said Nisreen Stephan, whose customers call her Nancy. After she makes her last pizza, Nancy says she’ll take some much needed time off and always cherish the memories she made at the shop. Nancy says she isn’t sure if Giant Pizza King will reopen in another location. If she decides to reopen the restaurant, she says she’ll make sure to let everyone know. 792
