"You'd never think this would happen to you and for it to happen and [to] somebody you know totally tears you apart," he told ABC10 News.On Monday afternoon, Chandler Police confirmed that the 58-year-old stroke survivor and dementia patient got on a Greyhound bus on Friday morning that was bound for Los Angeles.Her family says that she could be trying to get to San Diego which is where she grew up and where her sister still lives. A San Diego Police flyer indicated he was prepared to meet friends and never arrived.Billingsly earned a degree in business administration and marketing from SDSU. He traveled to his native Sacramento and earned money for his return to San Diego, his mother Christel told 10News.Christel Billingsley said her son was looking for a job and wanted to save on rent. After June 1, he did not have a permanent address and started couch-surfing at friends’ homes in Pacific Beach.Wesley and his Ford Expedition disappeared June 12. “It’s completely out of character,” said his mother.Christel paid her son’s phone bill and described him as a social media junkie. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The mother who reported her 3-year-old son missing in Linda Vista Tuesday morning has been arrested. According to police, Maria Flores was arrested for filing a false police report. Flores reported her son, Kevin Serrano, missing from a home in the 2500 block of Ulrich St. just after 10 a.m., according to San Diego Police.At 3:00 p.m., police reported the boy was found unharmed in the 7500 block of Mesa College Drive. Officers said the child's caregiver called them and said he had been dropped off in the morning.Flores told police that Kevin was last seen at home. Police deployed officers on foot, patrolling on motorcycles, and air resources to help search for Serrano.“This is highly unusual.
