Ready for a blast from the past?New Kids On The Block announced a tour that will take you back to the 80s. The Mixtape tour will feature special guests Salt N Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty By Nature.The tour will kick off May 2, 2019, in Cincinnati and hit 53 cities throughout the country during the summer of 2019.The tour wraps up in Hollywood, California on July 14.Tickets start at .95 and will go on sale Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. To celebrate the tour, New Kids On The Block released a new song "80s Baby" featuring the guests on the tour. RAMONA (KGTV) - Seven acres burned in a brush fire near downtown Ramona Saturday, according to CalFire. At 6 p.m. Cal Fire PIO Issac Sanchez said the fire was 20% contained.The fire burned near Montecito Road and North Ramona Street.Hundreds of neighbors were evacuated from the Ramona Mountain Valley Apartments, where the fire burned right up to their fence. Juliette Farey, a mother and resident at the complex said she was coming back from her son's birthday party and when she saw the smoke, she knew her home was at risk."We were scared for our lives," she said.Farey said the unruly gold bushes on the other side of the fence were out of control, and wished they would be better maintained to keep a fire from happening in the future.Sanchez said the fire started with a pile of debris in the riverbed then spread to nearby grass. Sixty-five fire fighters responded, working to protect neighbors, two planes and a helicopter also jumped into action to help. Farey believes homeless who live in the riverbed started the fire, saying the high rent is to blame. "They probably lit a fire in the river bottom to stay warm," she said.Other residents were terrified, saying they've never experienced a scare like this."There was just this wall of smoke. I grabbed our animals and my daughters," Angelina Rios said police banged on their door urging them to get out and that's when they saw the wall of smoke steps away.Her daughter Destiny Minjares described the fear gripping her and her neighbors, that turned to excitement as a helicopter soared just over their heads dropping water.Destiny said they got splashed and everyone cheered after the successful maneuver, a feeling that quickly faded as they saw the fire was still raging nearby.Firefighters got a handle on the fire around 6 p.m. The evacuations have been lifted. All road closures have been lifted as well. Firefighters are expected to be at the scene for several hours.This is a developing story. 10News will update as details become available.  2101

President Donald Trump’s campaign is blasting Joe Biden’s vice presidential pick, calling Sen. Kamala Harris “phony.”In a statement, Trump adviser Katrina Pierson says Harris “will abandon her own morals, as well as try to bury her record as a prosecutor, in order to appease the anti-police extremists controlling the Democrat Party.”Pierson says Harris has “gleefully embraced the left’s radical manifesto, calling for trillions of dollars in new taxes and backing Bernie Sanders’ government takeover of healthcare.”Pierson calls Harris “proof that Joe Biden is an empty shell being filled with the extreme agenda of the radicals on the left.”For weeks, Trump’s campaign promised an aggressive response against whomever was selected by Biden as his running mate.Says Pierson, “At the ballot box, Americans will resoundingly reject the abysmal failures of Biden-Harris in favor of the America First strength of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.”__4:17 p.m.Joe Biden has chosen California Sen. President-elect Joe Biden says it is important that President Donald Trump attend his inauguration only in the sense that it would demonstrate the nation’s commitment to a peaceful transfer of power between political rivals.Trump aides have expressed skepticism that the president would attend Biden’s Jan. 20 inauguration. Trump has continued to falsely claim victory and spread baseless claims of fraud to try to explain away his loss.Speaking Thursday to CNN, Biden said, “It is totally his decision.” He added, “It is of no personal consequence to me, but I think it is to the country.”Biden lamented Trump’s refusal to concede, saying, “These kinds of things happen in tin-horn dictatorships."He said he hoped Trump would attend the inauguration to set an example to other nations on the democratic process. 820

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, questioned Dr. Anthony Fauci on Friday on why protests were permitted in the wake of the death of George Floyd amid the coronavirus pandemic.Jordan claimed that allowing protests while church services in some states have been scaled back due to the spread of the virus was "inconsistent."During the heated exchange, Dr. Fauci conceded that all mass gatherings, including protests, should be avoided by the public. But as Jordan tried to press Dr. Fauci into opining on limits to protests and church services, Dr. Fauci reiterated that he was not in a position to make such an opinion.“I don't understand what you're asking me as a public health official to opine on who should get arrested or not. That's not my position,” Dr. Fauci said.Jordan said that Dr. Fauci makes recommendations all of the time, and pressed him on why he wouldn’t made an opinion on this topic.“You know, you made comments on dating on baseball and everything you can imagine. I'm just asking you, you just said protests increased the spread. I'm just asking you. Should we try to limit the protest?”Jordan asked.Fauci responded, “I think I would leave that to people who have more of a position to do that.”Fauci, who acts as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was joined by other public health officials on Capitol Hill for a hearing on the government’s response to the virus.While the Black Lives Matter protests took place in late May and early June, the timing of the protests coincided with the reopening of bars and restaurants in many states. According to research conducted by the National Bureau of Economic Research, the protests did not cause a spike of coronavirus cases. The research indicated that the protests may have actually caused a net increase to social distancing as many people opted to stay home to avoid the protests."Our findings suggest that any direct decrease in social distancing among the subset of the population participating in the protests is more than offset by increasing social distancing behavior among others who may choose to shelter-at-home and circumvent public places while the protests are underway," the report reads.Jordan tried to spin Dr. Fauci’s testimony to decry the Black Lives Matter protests and blame Democrats who are supportive of the movement.“Can’t go to church.
