ASTANA, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived here Wednesday for a state visit to Kazakhstan and the 17th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
In his congratulatory message, Xi said that Barbados is an important cooperation partner for China in the Caribbean region, adding that the past 40 years have seen continuous development of China-Barbados relations and close exchanges at various levels.
The move was aimed tat better protecting people's legal rights and standardizing professional conduct, according to the Ministry of Justice.
"China will expand opening-up in areas such as telecommunication and the Internet in an active and prudent manner, and deepen digital industry cooperation with other countries," he said. "China is committed to improving transparency and security of digital economic activities, to maintain fair and just market order and better protect legitimate interests of enterprises and users."
He Lei, who led a PLA delegation to the dialogue, said, "On the Taiwan issue, one should not just mention the Taiwan Relations Act, the three China-U.S. joint communiques should also be mentioned, thus giving a full picture of the issue."
