The extent of the damage was unclear because much of the affected region was without electricity and phone and internet service, and strong winds hampered radio transmissions.Officials reported at least four deaths around the region, and said other people were unaccounted for.Aid agencies struggled to reach their local contacts, and the government said in a statement that at least 35 towns in the east and north had no phone service. (AP) -- Sheriff's officials in Florida say a 24-year-old South Carolina man is accused of invading the home of a WWE star near Tampa.Phillip Thomas II was arrested Sunday after officials say he entered the home of wrestler Sonya Deville, setting off a security alarm.Hillsborough Sheriff's officials say the 26-year-old victim, real name Daria Berenato, spotted Thomas on the property after the alarm rang and called 911 as she fled with a guest in a car.Arriving deputies found Thomas at the home with a knife, plastic zip ties, duct tape and mace. TAMPA, Fla. — New court documents show a 3-year-old girl killed in a crash last month was not properly restrained.According to police, the mother, who was driving the car, pulled in front of another vehicle around 7:50 a.m. on January 16, near the intersection of North 40th Street and East Osborne Avenue.According to court documents, three children in the vehicle were in the car on booster seats, however, the booster and car seats were not secured to the vehicle. It's the law in Florida for children to be in a car seat until they turn four years old. Children must be in a booster until they are six years old. Failure to comply can result in a moving violation and about a 0 fine. If a child is injured or killed in a crash and was not properly restrained, child neglect charges can be filed.Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash on Jan. 18.
