LANCASTER, Calif. – A man has been arrested for the murders of his 12-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter in Lancaster, California, which is north of Los Angeles.The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that fire personnel located the victims when they were called to the family's home to investigate a possible gas leak Friday morning.Detectives say the children both appeared to have suffered from lacerations and stab wounds.The mayor of Lancaster, Rex Parris, confirmed to KABC and the L.A. LAS VEGAS — Neighbors living in a southwest Las Vegas neighborhood were shocked to a see a home in their area vandalized with swastikas.Morley Fulgencio said he noticed the swastikas all over his garage, his driveway and the steps leading up to his front door when he was taking his daughter to school Thursday morning."I was flabbergasted," Fulgencio said.After a short drive around the neighborhood, Fulgencio realized that only his house was the one vandalized. He said he has no idea why his home was singled out.Fulgencio said he hopes this was just a prank. Neighbors rallied together to show support, knocking on his door to help. (KGTV) - A major crash on SR-94 near Massachusetts off-ramp caused backups on the westbound lanes Wednesday night.According to CHP, the driver of an SUV traveling east and lost control just after 8 p.m. The SUV drove through shrubs on the center divider, jumped the median wall and ended up upside on the westbound lanes.The driver has been identified as a 35-year-old man. He was driving alone. He was taken to the hospital with major injuries, but was conscious, according to CHP.Alcohol is believed be a factor in the crash.Authorities on the scene were not sure if he was wearing a seatbelt.The crash caused cars to swerve out of the way, causing other accidents on the 94. One fender bender was reported, and a motorcycle rider lost of control and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.Two lanes of traffic were closed off on the westbound lanes. (KGTV) — San Diego Sheriff's Department has identified the man fatally shot by deputies inside an East County Del Taco last week.SDSO said a call was made on Jan. 5 just after 8:30 p.m. that a customer at the Del Taco located at 7060 Broadway had pointed a handgun at the caller while inside the restaurant. Deputies arrived and said they attempted to make contact with the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Adolfo Gonzalez, but he produced a handgun and a deputy-involved shooting occurred.The deputies who fired at Gonzalez were identified as SDSO deputies Cenizo, Daly, and Dow, according to the department.
