Service to accommodate riders to the Holiday Bowl Parade and game are also being offered.With the additional services, some modified schedules will be in place:New Year's Eve (Dec. 31): All trolley lines and most MTS bus routes will operate on normal weekday schedule.Holiday Bowl Parade: Extra Green Line Trolley service between Mission Valley and downtown will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue after the parade. Best access to the parade route are via Sycuan Green Line and UC San Diego Blue Line, MTS says.Holiday Bowl game: Service on Sycuan Green Line will run every 15 minutes throughout the day. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — While families navigate this holiday season with an extra bit of care in the form of social distancing and face coverings, there are still opportunities to visit Santa Claus with the kids around the county.This year, many malls and amusement parks are keeping the tradition of visiting with Santa alive in some fashion, whether it be socially distanced in person or online.At Westfield and Simon malls throughout the county, visits will require face coverings, physical distancing, reservations, and offer hand sanitizer for visitors.But for families who aren't comfortable visiting the big man in person this year, virtual visits are available. The Otay Ranch Town Center and Chula Vista Center in the South Bay, and The Shoppes at Carlsbad in North County are offering personalized greetings and storytime with Santa. San Diego (KGTV)- An Escondido family discovers new challenges in caring for their newborn diagnosed with Spina Bifida. He's finally home after staying in the hospital for months. The parents share the biggest hurdle is his continued care during the Pandemic.In the first three months of his life, Baby Devin has experienced eight surgeries. Spina Bifida is a condition where his spine didn't fully close while in the womb."Devin is at a small percentage where he has Symptomatic Chiari, where it affects his ability to breath and swallow," says dad Jon Hoy.Now at five months, little Devin is home from the hospital with his parents and three brothers, but he requires 24-hour medical care."He has a trache in his throat, and then he has a ventilator that helps him breathe," says Hoy. "The same ventilators that have become so crucial during COVID-19. He has G-tube to help him eat in his stomach."Parents Jon and Erin Hoy say finding in-home care has been tough."These nurses need to be pediatric certified. They need to be trache certified and vent certified," says Mom Erin Hoy. "His level of acuity has just created a big barrier for finding nurses."Due to COVID-19, there is an added level of caution for those who are around Baby Devin. Hoy says during her search for adequate help, she's learned, "there's a significant difference or pay difference between nurses in a hospital or a facility compared to nurses in home."Hoy says they are still in need of nurses to help Devin around the clock, but they are grateful for the ones that have come in so far."There's always light that comes if you just hold on. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Little Italy is the latest San Diego neighborhood asking for more regulation over the dockless bike programs popping up all over the city.  187

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - UC San Diego and the San Diego Police Department are investigating a series of incidents where a man reportedly exposed himself several times so far this year. According to the university, from January through March of 2019, there have been at least six reports of a man who appears to be jogging in the University City area when he reportedly exposed his genitals to women. During all the reported incidents, the suspect ran up to female victim and exposed himself before running away. San Diego Police detectives are still investigating the patterns of the six incidents. But Lt. Justin Scott told 10News, most of the incidents happened during the last afternoon/early evening hours in the UTC South area.The man is described as a white or Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’ 5” to 5’ 10” tall with a beard in most of the incidents. The suspect has been seen wearing black or gray running shorts and a green or black hoodie pulled up. None of the incidents happened on the UC San Diego campus, but some of the victims were students, police said. The university says anyone who has been sexually assaulted or subject to other forms of sexual misconduct or harassment should report the incident to university officials and San Diego Police Northern Division. 1298
