SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Several San Diego casinos say they are upping the ante when it comes to hygiene and addressing coronavirus worries among guests.To keep gamers pushing buttons and chips with peace of mind, some casinos are taking precautionary measures like installing more hand sanitizer stations, staff training, increased hand cleaning signage, and cleaning gaming machines more often.Sycuan Casino Resort in El Cajon says in addition to the above measures, they've also put anti-bacterial soap in all restrooms and are also using a casino chip company to clean and sanitize all their gaming chips.RELATED: Some Las Vegas casinos have closed their buffets amid coronavirus outbreak"With the recent onset of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Sycuan Casino Resort is taking every precaution to protect both our guests and Team Members. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- SeaWorld San Diego is closed Thursday as a storm moves through the county. The theme park made the announcement Wednesday night after the first round of rain battered the area. Officials with SeaWorld say they plan to reopen the park Friday, Dec. 7. The park closed last Thursday, November 29 also due to the rain. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- SeaWorld San Diego’s Skyride reopened Wednesday after a ‘”gust of significant wind” caused the ride to close in mid-February. According to SeaWorld, the park, along with the ride’s manufacturer and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspected various parts of the ride over the last several months, including the towers, gondolas, ride cables and various other equipment. SeaWorld says the ride’s communication cable was also replaced. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police searched Tuesday for the man who may have groped several women in the South Bay.The most recent encounter happened Sunday at 7:30 p.m. as the woman was walking on Iris Ave. and Oro Vista Rd. in Nestor, police said.A man walking the opposite direction grabbed the woman’s breast, then ran away.The woman wasn’t hurt and told police the man didn’t appear to have a weapon.Police said the man was Hispanic, in his early 20’s, 5’6” tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black athletic shorts, and black shoes.The man may be responsible for two similar attacks in the same area, said officers.The first incident happened October 30 at 7:30 pm. and the second was January 17 at 9:30 p.m., both on Oro Vista Rd. near the I-5 and 905 interchange.Anyone with information is asked to call the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000. 916
