BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's upcoming visit to Mongolia will encourage closer alignment of China's Silk Road Economic Belt initiative with Mongolia's Prairie Road program, according to a senior official from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
They agree to strengthen cooperation on the pursuit of fugitives, asset recovery and return, anti-money laundering and related crimes.
A number of cooperation deals covering economy, trade, industrial capacity, finance and education are expected to be inked.
Hailing the traditional friendship between the two countries, Xi told his Serbian counterpart that China-Serbia practical cooperation and people-to-people exchanges have yielded fruitful results.
Before visiting the steel mill, Xi went to a local park to lay a wreath at a monument to unknown heroes of Serbia. After that, he attended a luncheon hosted by the Serbian president and the prime minister.
