BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- The new leadership of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) said Monday that the forum would firmly support globalization to help achieve mutual development in Asia and beyond.
Welcoming more cross-Strait exchanges, he said that the mainland will provide more employment and business opportunities for ordinary Taiwanese, particularly young people.
The meeting was also attended by members of the central committee for deepening overall reform, as well as leaders of Party and government departments.
He called upon the three countries to come up with high-level trade rules that suit the current circumstances in the 21st century.
Abe said Japan welcomes the positive changes on the Korean Peninsula and supports peaceful solutions to the issues through dialogue. Japan highly values China's important role in solving the Korean Peninsula issue and hopes to enhance communication with China.
