LEMON GROVE, Calif. (KGTV) - Deputies are searching for a suspect who shot and killed one man and sent another to the hospital in Lemon Grove Saturday night. The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and Olive Street. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were flagged down and, when they got to the scene, discovered the two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were rushed to the hospital where one of the victim’s died. The victim was identified Monday as 29-year-old Henry Weaver. At this time, deputies don’t have any suspect information. 621

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A police officer recruit in Indiana has been fired after his department received "credible" information the officer participated in a neo-Nazi internet chat forum in 2016.According to a report from Lafayette police, the department was tagged late Friday on its official Twitter page with information specifically identifying the officer.In a statement, Chief Patrick Flannelly said the department's internal affairs division began an immediate investigation and determined that the officer did participate in the online forum and that the information provided to the police department was accurate and credible.We have chosen not to identify the officer at this time, since he has not been charged with a crime.The chief said the officer's comments "were not in harmony with the spirit of cooperation and inclusion in the community that the Lafayette Police Department values."The officer was hired by the department in June 2020 and has been working solely in a training environment and has had no exposure to the public, the chief said."The Lafayette Police Department conducts very thorough and complete background investigations on all potential employees, which includes a complete review of personal social media accounts," Flannelly said. "While this information may not have been accessible through our investigative processes, we are appreciative that it was brought to our attention. We take great pride in our investigations and are extremely disappointed that we were not able to uncover this information in that process. LAS VEGAS — A window washer is dead after falling at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.The fall was reported at 12:33 p.m. local time on Wednesday.He was pronounced deceased at University Medical Center.Witnesses say gusty winds had pushed the rigging against the building several times before the man fell.OSHA will be investigating the incident with investigators checking the worker's equipment.A spokesperson for the Trump Organization released the following statement:“We are deeply saddened to learn of the incident today. LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas State Police say a man suspected of stealing a taxi was fatally shot by a trooper after the man stabbed and wounded another law enforcement officer over the weekend.State police say 58-year-old Aloysius Keaton of Little Rock crashed the stolen cab while exiting off Interstate 30 and stabbed an Arkansas Highway Patrol officer who tried to arrest him.Police say the trooper shot Keaton after a shock from a stun gun failed to stop him as he approached the trooper with the weapon.The trooper ordered Keaton to stop and drop the weapon, but police say he failed to comply with the order and charged toward the officer, who then shot the suspect with a handgun.Keaton later died from his injuries at an area hospital Saturday night.State police say the Highway Police officer was treated and released and the trooper was uninjured.Keaton’s body has been transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory where an autopsy will be conducted.The trooper remains on paid administrative leave and has not yet been identified. 1056
