While Friday was just the second day that air traffic surpassed 1 million domestically since March, the same day last year had 2.5 million travelers.On Sunday, 1.05 million travelers passed through security checkpoints, the most since March, but the same day last year had over 2.3 million passengers. Thieves stole priceless royal artifacts in a daring raid on a Swedish cathedral before escaping by speedboat, police said.The thieves made off with crown jewels belonging to former Swedish monarchs Karl IX and Kristina from the Str?ngn?s Cathedral to the west of the capital, Stockholm, on Tuesday.Two crowns and a golden orb adorned with a crucifix were taken from the cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century, according to a police report.
