(KGTV) - The San Bruno Police Department has identified the YouTube shooter as 39-year-old Nasim Najafi Aghdam. Aghdam reportedly drove to YouTube headquarters from San Diego, KRON reported Tuesday evening. Aghdam was a YouTube user who has a website with a manifesto that targets the platform for censorship and demonization of her content, according to ABC7. Law enforcement officials said Aghdam had previous addresses in San Diego and Riverside Counties and lived in a home in Menifee, Calif. with her parents. RELATED:  610

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 26-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized this morning with a fractured pelvis and other internal injuries she sustained when she was struck by a 2015 Honda Accord sedan while crossing a street in the Mt. Hope area of San Diego, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.It occurred at the intersection of Market and Denby streets at 10:35 p.m. Friday as the victim was crossing Market Street legally, but not in a marked crosswalk, according to Sgt. Michael Tansey of the San Diego Police Department.The victim, identified as Ruth James of San Diego, was taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, Tansey said.The driver of the Honda, a 40-year-old woman, was jailed on suspicion of felony DUI, he said. SAN DIEGO (AP) — A son of one of the founders of the Sinaloa drug cartel has appeared in a U.S. court on trafficking and other charges after he was extradited from Mexico. A lawyer for Ismael "El Mayito Gordo" Zambada-Imperial says he pleaded not guilty to the charges in the federal court in San Diego and his next court hearing is scheduled for Feb. 7. Zambada-Imperial is accused of smuggling large quantities of cocaine and marijuana from Mexico to the United States, as well as the laundering of profits from the illegal drug trade. SAN DEIGO (KGTV) - A family in City Heights is going to save about 90% on their electric bill thanks to the non-profit GRID Alternatives. The organization installed free solar on their roof for Mother's Day. Erika Rodriguez is a single mother of three and she told 10News she would not have been able to afford solar without the program. She'll own the panels as long as she lives at the house. If she moves, the panel stays. The construction team doing the work is a team of all women volunteers. GRID Alternatives is also hoping to get more women into solar-related jobs. Currently, women only make up 27% of solar jobs.  661

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 48-year-old man riding a motorized bike may not survive the major injuries he sustained when he crashed into a vehicle Friday evening in the Grantville area of San Diego, authorities said.The victim was riding a motorized GT bike in the 6500 block of Mission Gorge Road about 7:55 p.m. when he attempted to cross from the west side of the street to the east side and crashed at a nearly 90-degree angle into the passenger side of a gray 2014 Subaru traveling northbound in the No. 2 lane, causing the bike to overturn, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.The victim was taken to a hospital with major blunt force trauma and his survival was in question, Heims said.Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, he said.The SDPD Traffic Division investigated the accident. 825
