The Idaho Lottery launched what’s being billed as “a first of its kind” Scratch Game Wednesday, by introducing a clear plastic scratch ticket. The new game, called “Cash Getaway,” is 100% recyclable, Lottery officials said. “The Idaho Lottery has a long history of being on the forefront of cutting-edge technology,” said Lottery Director Jeff Anderson. “Idaho is a unique geographic marketplace that is ideal for trying new products and new innovations that will eventually lead to introduction in other jurisdictions around the country.”Players can actually see through the ticket. In the clear play game, located on the top half of the ticket, players scratch and reveal a unique code for use with their mobile device or PC.  The bottom half of the ticket plays like a traditional Scratch ticket.  Players without access to a mobile device or a computer can still play the new game. Each ticket features the Lottery’s security bar code which may be scanned at retail locations to collect their winnings. The new game will be available in retail stores throughout Idaho by the end of the week, Anderson added.  The new five-dollar game also features two top prizes of ,000 –- awarded either in cash payment or as a luxurious “vacation of a lifetime." The old king of mobile messaging is coming after the new king.BlackBerry filed a lawsuit in California on Tuesday against Facebook, along with its subsidiaries WhatsApp and Instagram, for infringing on its messaging patents.BlackBerry claims in the lawsuit that the social media companies developed messaging applications that "co-opt BlackBerry's innovations" by using patented features touching on security, the user interface, and battery life."We have a strong claim that Facebook has infringed on our intellectual property, and after several years of dialogue, we also have an obligation to our shareholders to pursue appropriate legal remedies," a spokesperson for BlackBerry said in a statement provided to CNN.Facebook brushed off the suit as little more than a desperate move from a fading company."Blackberry's suit sadly reflects the current state of its messaging business," Paul Grewal, Facebook's deputy general counsel, said in a statement. "Having abandoned its efforts to innovate, BlackBerry is now looking to tax the innovation of others. The House of Representatives successfully completed an override of a presidential veto for the first time since the Obama administration on Monday. With overwhelming majorities in both caucuses, the House issued an override of the National Defense Authorization Act.The bill needed a two-thirds majority for a successful override.The bill returns to the Senate, where it will also need a two-thirds majority to pass.The veto was President Donald Trump’s ninth since taking office. Eight previous vetoes were successfully sustained.The National Defense Authorization Act provides the Pentagon with 0 billion in funds, and authorized pay raises for members of the armed forces.Trump objected to the bill due to the Pentagon’s policy of renaming US bases that are named for confederate leaders. Trump also used the legislation as an opportunity to state his grievances on Section 230, a US code that offers legal protection for internet sites and social media companies.A number of Republicans have joined Democrats in condemning Trump for objecting to the defense funding bill.“It’s definitely been erratic at the end here,” Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger said in a Monday interview on MSNBC. “I think he’s more focused on grievances than finishing out strong… The NDAA, veto of that makes no sense, but hopefully, we override that.
