A California high school student has been charged with two counts of battery stemming from a fight involving a Donald Trump "Make America Great Again" cap, according to KOVR-TVCell phone video of the fight shows a Union Mine High School student confronting and yelling at a fellow student wearing a red MAGA hat in support of President Trump. After yelling at her classmate, she reportedly grabbed the hat off his head and threw it on the ground and left the classroom, according to the El Dorado Sheriff's Office.The student later returned to the classroom and again removed the student's hat. The teacher escorted the girl out of the classroom, and she reportedly slapped him on the arm as he led her out. A school resource officer arrested the girl in the hallway. A Lake Worth family’s home was defaced and targeted on the night of the Florida primary because of their politics, and now they worry what might happen next.Jeanne and Michael Carroll came home Tuesday night to find profanity and an anti-Trump message spray-painted on their home.“We should have freedom of speech, freedom to do whatever we want on our own property,” said Jeanne Carroll, who believes her home was targeted because of the Trump flag flying outside.In the 400 block of S K Street in Lake Worth, pride of country is on full display with American flags flapping in the wind. But the Carroll’s home is the only one with a Trump flag. It's been outside for about eight months without any problems, until Tuesday night."I feel extremely violated," Carroll said.The Carrolls went out to dinner Tuesday, and when they came home they found the words "F*** Trump" spray-painted underneath their front window near the flag."I just don't understand why anyone would take the chance of endangering themselves and coming onto someone else's property just because of a political flag," she said.Less than 24 hours later, Michael Carroll's car was also spray painted. It was tagged with the same anti-Trump message and the letter X."People are so just on opposite sides and it's so divided," neighbor PJ Mahoney said.Mahoney has a sign on her fence supporting a Republican for Governor, and she is thankful no one saw a Trump sign hanging on her house. She feels no one should destroy someone's property, no matter what political party you support."I think people are very selfish and self-centered that if they don't agree with it they think they have the right to do something about it," Mahoney said.That is what now scares Carroll. A federal judge ruled that Detroit police officers cannot use batons, shields, gas or bullets against protesters for at least the next two weeks.U.S. District Court Judge Laurie Michelson issued a ruling Friday night partially granting a temporary restraining order in the lawsuit filed by activist group Detroit Will Breathe against the City of Detroit and Detroit Police Department.In the order, Michelson ruled that the city cannot use "striking weapons, chemical agents, or rubber bullets" against the protesters who do not pose a physical threat to the safety of the public or the police. Officers also cannot use chokeholds against the protesters."The Court recognizes that police officers are often faced with dangerous and rapidly evolving situations while trying to enforce the law and maintain the safety of the public. A family is grieving after their loved one died when her home collapsed during a tornado in Kentucky."It's just like it flattened everything," Tammy Brown said.Brown said she is devastated and in disbelief after the force of a tornado brought down her parent's home on Dot Road in Logan County."He lost everything in 12 minutes," Brown said.She visited them just moments before the tornado struck."I mean, I left here yesterday at 3:15 p.m., and this place was picture perfect," Brown said. "And you look at it today, and you've got metal in all the trees. They've been walking around in the fields, and they went all the way to the river and they were finding my daughter's toys."Dallas Combs, 79, who went by Jane, was inside the home when it collapsed."Dad's not coping… he was the one that found her," Brown said.John Combs was outside putting down sandbags when the tornado hit."So when it took the roof off, it sucked him back through the basement, so he immediately went up the steps, and he started calling for her," Brown said. "He moved a big thing of bricks, and he knew the minute he saw her she was gone."The woman he loved was taken from him.
