NATIONAL CITY (KGTV) -- Police in National City arrested a suspect who led them on a chase Tuesday after robbing a man of his wallet earlier in March.According to police, the suspect robbed a man of his wallet after tasing him several times, including once in the face on March 9.After spending several days collecting information on the suspect, police spotted the man driving a white sedan.The suspect refused to stop and led police on a chase sideswiping several cars, including a police vehicle, in the process.After stopping on the 6000 block of Cumberland Street, the suspect bolted from his vehicle and tried to run to his home. Police eventually caught up with the suspect and used a taser to bring him down.The man was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be taken to jail on robbery charges.Police haven’t released the name of the suspect. 880

Earlier this summer, Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney and former mayor of New York City, called police after the incident.Reviews of Cohen’s movie, “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” appeared online Wednesday ahead of its Friday release on Amazon Prime. Vanity Fair and The Guardian describe the scene with Giuliani in more detail, in which he agrees to an interview with a young woman in her hotel room.Cohen’s co-star in the movie, Maria Bakalova, is posing as a journalist and sets up an interview with Giuliani. They meet in a hotel room, “where he holds her hands, compliments her appearance, and follows her to the bedroom. She spends some time elaborately taking off their microphones; briefly, he lies down on the bed. His hand is in his pants,” writes Sonia Saraiya with Vanity Fair.The Guardian says Giuliani follows her to the bedroom to have a drink and “can be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers.”At which point, Cohen runs into the room in character, and yells “She’s 15. Not Richard Kraft."I'm not satisfied with a souvenir book or a little pennant: I had to actually own pieces of the park," says Kraft, who admits "I'm a bit obsessive."He grew up in Bakersfield, California, a few hours' drive north of Disneyland, and his schoolteacher parents would save money for annual trips to the theme park. His older brother, David, had Crohn's disease, so they could go only when he was healthy.When David died, 25 years ago, Kraft found himself drawn back to Disneyland, to the sights and smells and tastes that brought back memories."These were the same sidewalks I walked as a child with my brother," Kraft recalls."Then he heard about an auction of Disneyland travel posters. He bid on an Autopia poster, won it -- and was hooked.His quarter-century of collecting is currently on display as "That's From Disneyland!", a 20,000-square-foot pop-up exhibit filling an old sporting goods store in Sherman Oaks, California. It includes everything from attraction vehicles and props to park signage and concept drawings -- more than 750 items in all.Guests are greeted by a scale model of Main Street, surrounded by concept artwork, the "travel posters" that lined the entrance tunnels, and even a Disneyland mailbox. His other condition before agreeing to sell: a month-long opportunity for the public to see everything he'd spent 25 years collecting before it is auctioned in a few weeks."We have a very passionate collector who doesn't just want to list items: he wants to share them with everyone," says Van Eaton. NASHVILLE, Ind. — A faculty advisor for the yearbook at a high school in Indiana has been suspended without pay for two weeks for a photo caption that referred to a Black student as "Black Guy" instead of the student's name.Brown County Schools Superintendent Dr. Laur Hammack and high school principal Matthew Stark made the announcement in a letter to the district on Friday.The mistaken caption printed in Brown County High School's 2020 yearbook."Our investigation did not identify any students (currently enrolled or graduated) who were involved in the creation of the offensive content," the district's statement read. "We believe the content was created by the faculty advisor for the yearbook; he will no longer serve in that role. Additionally, this same faculty member is being suspended without pay for two weeks."The district did not identify the staff member nor say whether the advisor is also a teacher."Both the family of the student and the former faculty advisor involved have committed to a restorative conference where the harm that was caused is acknowledged, the individual causing the harm is held accountable, and an honest discussion about the harm caused by this inexcusable act is conducted," the district's statement read.The district said that the discussion will and needs to continue."We are having meaningful conversations with students, families, and members of the larger Brown County community to help ensure an incident of this type will never happen again," the district said.
