A sheriff's department dispatch log reveals new information about the night that missing Wisconsin teenager Jayme Closs' parents were found dead -- including that a 911 call appeared to have come from her mother's cell phone and that the door to the family's home had been kicked in.Authorities have been searching for Jayme Closs, 13, since early Monday, when a mysterious 911 call led deputies to discover that her parents had been shot dead at the family's home in northwestern Wisconsin's Barron County.Investigators say Jayme apparently vanished just after the shootings and is in danger. An Amber Alert was issued for her Monday, and the FBI has added her to its online list of kidnapped or missing people."We believe Jayme was in the home at the time of the homicides and we believe she's still in danger," Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said this week.The investigation began when someone called 911 shortly before 1 a.m. Monday. A new survey finds 20 percent of grandparents hate their grandchild's name.Online British parenting websites Mumsnet and Gransnet surveyed 2,000 parents and grandparents to learn just how closely grandparents are involved in the naming of a baby.Thirty-eight percent of parents responded saying it is none of the grandparents' business when it comes to choosing babies’ names. Just 31 percent of grandparents agree with that.Fifteen percent of parents say they have a parent or in-law who hates their baby’s name.The disagreement over a baby's name can have long-lasting effects. Six percent of parents say they have fallen out with their parents or in-laws because of the name they gave their son or daughter."Choosing a baby name is fraught enough for parents when you’re only taking into account your own views," said Mumsnet Founder Justine Roberts. A teacher at a Virginia high school was fired this week for allegedly refusing to stop calling a transgender male student a girl, ABC News reported. The teacher, Peter Vlaming, was reportedly fired for violating the school's nondiscrimination and anti-harassment policies. Vlaming was a French teacher at West Point High School in West Point, Va. "After thoughtful deliberation, the School Board voted to support the superintendent’s recommendation," the school's board wrote in a statement. "The School Board has adopted policies and tonight we upheld these policies."Vlaming claimed that his religion prevented him from identifying the boy by his preferred pronoun. Vlaming did agree to use the student's male name. A petition, which has more than 2,000 signatures, was launched in support of Vlaming. Vlaming said in the petition, "I won't use male pronouns with a female student that now identifies as a male though I did agree to use the new masculine name but avoid female pronouns. Administration is requiring that I use masculine pronouns in any and every context at school. I was informed that any further instances of using female pronouns would be grounds for termination." On Friday, students held a walkout and protest at the school in response to Vlaming's firing, WWBT-TV reported. “The school board is trying to force the teacher to conform to their ideologies with the threat of removal from the school,” Forrest Rohde, a junior who organized the walkout, told WWBT. James Millner, the president of Virginia Pride, agreed with the board's decision. "He violated school policy, despite multiple warnings from administrators. A Utah man died flying a Cessna 535 citation jet into his home, where his wife and her son were, early Monday, hours after he was arrested for domestic violence, police said.The incident began at American Fork Canyon, about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City, when the Utah County Sheriff's Office received calls about a domestic violence situation between Duane Youd and his wife on Sunday night, according to Payson Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Noemi Sandoval."They had been drinking and an argument broke out and he started hitting her and some witnesses called in to police to say a guy was hitting a woman," Sandoval said on Monday.Youd was arrested and was bailed out Monday morning between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m., Sandoval said. When Youd asked if he could go back to his home and pick up some belongings, he was escorted by an officer and left the home in his vehicle, police said."He then evidently went to the airplane" after leaving his home, Sandoval said.Around 2:30 a.m., Payson authorities received a call that a plane had crashed into Youd's home.Youd was a professional pilot, Sandoval said. He flew for VanCon, a construction company that owned the plane. A San Diego Couple is breaking the internet after getting married at a Costco in Mission Valley Thursday. Margot Schein and Julian Parris said they made the decision to get married at Costco because, after meeting on a dating app, they decided to have their first date at the store. According to Schein, the couple decided to wed at Costco on their three-year anniversary. The wedding included a custom-made cake from the store, an archway and pallets to hold up bouquets of flowers. Staff at the store even took the time to set up chairs for the event as well as decorate a portion of the Costco with rose petals. “I feel like we have a whole new Costco family,” Margot said.  710
