TRENTON, Fla. — Two deputies in Trenton, Florida were killed in the line of duty on Thursday.Around 3 p.m., two Gilchrist County Deputy Sheriffs were shot and killed in the Ace China restaurant in downtown Trenton, after a suspect walked up to the business and shot both deputies through the window.According to the Sheriff’s Office, when fellow deputies responded to the scene, they found the shooter deceased outside the business and Sgt. Users reported brief outages Monday morning with several Google-owned web services like Gmail and YouTube.According to Down Detector, a crowdsourced website where users report an outage of websites and other telecommunications issues, there was a spike in outages on several Google productivity clients like Gmail, Google Hangouts, Google Classroom and Google Drive at about 7 a.m. ET on Monday morning.As of about 7:45 a.m. ET, it appeared that many of those services had been restored.The issues with Google productivity tools came at a time when millions are relying on them to work or attend class remotely as the country continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.Users reported that YouTube, which is owned by Google, also experienced an outage, as well as other YouTube services like YouTube TV and YouTube Music.It's currently unclear what caused the outages.This story is breaking and will be updated. 920

Vice President-elect Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, is set to join the faculty of Georgetown Law next month.Emhoff will serve as a Distinguished Visitor from Practice and teach a two-credit course in the spring semester called “Entertainment Law Disputes." United Airlines announced Wednesday plans to return 25,000 flights systemwide during the month of August in hopes that more people will resume traveling. Despite the massive number of flights being added to the schedule, United said that it will only run 40% of the number of flights it ran in 2019 in August.Domestically, United plans on adding 600 flights, meaning it will run 48% of its US flights in August. United projects that only 30% of US flights will fly in July compared to 2019."We're taking the same data-driven, realistic approach to growing our schedule as we did in drawing it down at the start of the pandemic," said Ankit Gupta, United's vice president of Domestic Network Planning. "Demand is coming back slowly and we're building in enough capacity to stay ahead of the number of people traveling. And we're adding in flights to places we know customers want to travel to, like outdoor recreation destinations where social distancing is easier but doing so in a way that's flexible and allows us to adjust should that demand change."On Tuesday, Delta announced the addition of 1,000 flights systemwide in July.
