OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - The San Diego Humane Society is asking for the public's help in solving an animal cruelty investigation. Around 5:30 p.m. on April 29 Humane Officers received a call about a loose goat running in and out of traffic at the busy Oceanside intersection of College Boulevard and Marvin Street.Oceanside resident Scott Palmer made the call when he noticed the goat on his commute home. “I literally told him to sit and stay, don’t know what I was thinking but I tried to distract him, and then he followed me to my car," said Palmer.Palmer described him as being as friendly as a dog.A Humane Law Officer picked up the goat and then received surveillance video of the incident. The footage shows two people abandoning the goat and driving away in a 4-door, white pickup truck.“It’s ok for you to come to us, please don’t abandon your animals when you can bring them to San Diego Humane Society and we'll take care of it for you," said Dariel Walker, with the Humane Society. She says if you cannot afford the fee, the Humane Society can still help. OTAY MESA (CNS) - A fisherman reported seeing what appeared to be a body in Upper Otay Lake this afternoon.The sighting at the reservoir east of Chula Vista was reported shortly after 2 p.m., according to police.Patrol officers investigated and, unable to confirm or discount the report, called in city lifeguards.By the time the dive team got to the lake, however, it was getting too late for an effective underwater search, said Jose Ysea, a spokesman for the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.The divers planned to return for a thorough search on Wednesday, Ysea said. 578

(KGTV) - Trains passing through southern Orange County were delayed Monday night causing headaches for thousands of travelers.According to Amtrak, a train became stalled on the track between Oceanside and San Clemente “due to mechanical issues.”The Metrolink Twitter account said train 609 that was disabled.The Pacific Surfliner Twitter account said train 583 was also having mechanical issues. The delays resulted in the cancellation of train 590.Metrolink wrote on Twitter that they canceled OC Line 603 to LA Union Station Tuesday morning because of the issues with train 609.Metrolink offered busses from Laguna Niguel down to Oceanside, but one traveler who was stranded at the San Juan Capistrano station told 10News that Amtrak did not offer any busses to complete the trip.
