His campaign said he tested negative for COVID twice on Friday.Biden says he was not tested for the coronavirus on Saturday but will undergo such screening on Sunday.After attending Saturday evening Catholic Mass in Wilmington, Delaware, Biden was asked if he’d undergone testing for the virus that day and replied, “No, but I will tomorrow morning.”Biden’s campaign has not announced any public events for its candidate on Sunday.Bates said in the statement that Biden was not in “close contact” with Trump, his family members or his aides during their debate Tuesday night. DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. -- A substitute bus driver in Lebanon, Indiana was fired last week after the district said she pulled over on the side of the interstate and allowed two strangers onto the bus to scold a child. The incident happened last Wednesday, on I-65 after a student was reportedly making lewd actions toward drivers. A driver then flagged down the bus and the bus driver allowed two people on to scold the student. The two people then got off the bus and back to their vehicles. The Superintendent of Lebanon Community Schools, Dr. Robert Taylor, calls the situation "unacceptable."The bus driver, who has not been named, was immediately fired.Dr. Taylor said she violated every protocol and procedure they have in place. "It's a matter of picking up the radio and instantaneously contacting somebody that could provide help," said Dr. Taylor. "That's exactly what should have been done."The district is working with local police to conduct a full investigation into the situation.   1043

DENVER -- A federal judge has temporarily stopped the U.S. Postal Service from sending pre-election fliers with information about mail-in voting, after Colorado's Secretary of State filed a lawsuit claiming the fliers contain "misleading" and "incorrect" information for her state's voters. The USPS is appealing the decision Monday morning. “The mailer incorrectly asks that voters request a mail ballot 15 days before the election and return their ballots by mail at least seven days before the election. In Colorado, every registered voter is sent a ballot without having to make a request and voters are urged to return ballots by mail sooner than seven days before the election,” Secretary of State Jena Griswold wrote in a statement released Saturday.The lawsuit was filed late last week, and Saturday evening Griswold tweeted that a judge had granted Colorado a temporary restraining order, preventing the postal service from sending out the mailer to Colorado voters.The restraining order will stay in place until September 22 unless changed by the court. James Boxrud, a USPS spokesperson, said in a statement that the postcard is part of a non-partisan campaign that the agency launched to educate the public on the upcoming election.“The non-partisan campaign neither encourages nor discourages mail-in voting; rather, it is designed to reach and inform all voters about the importance of planning ahead if they plan to vote by mail,” Boxrud said in a statement. 1481
