He was created by fusing cells taken from an endangered Przewalski’s horse at the San Diego Zoo in 1980. The cells were infused with an egg from a domestic horse that gave birth to Kurt two months ago. SALT LAKE CITY — A 15-year-old boy has died from his injuries after he became trapped in a car that flipped into the Jordan River Canal late Saturday night.The 20-year-old driver and two kids escaped the car before emergency crews arrived, but the 15-year-old and a two-year-old remained trapped in the vehicle.Family identified the victim as Justin Bates. His uncle says the teen made it out of the car safely before going back into the water in an attempt to rescue the little girl.“He was good hearted. SAN DIEGO (CNS) -- A 37-year-old man was fatally shot on the sidewalk near a parking garage in downtown San Diego's East Village neighborhood, police said Wednesday.The shooting was reported at around 10 p.m. Tuesday near the parking garage on G Street between 14th and 15th streets that serves the Albertsons grocery store, San Diego Police Lt. Andra Brown said.Officers responded and found a 37-year-old man lying on the sidewalk at the entrance of the parking garage with at least one apparent gunshot wound, Brown said.The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene, she said."It is early in the investigation and little is known about the circumstances surrounding the man's death," Brown said.Witnesses reported seeing a man wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and a black hat run through the parking garage after the shooting, then turn westbound on Market Street, the lieutenant said. "I would attribute this jump to record-low interest rates and an abundance of buyers in the marketplace, including buyers of vacation homes given the greater flexibility to work from home."In fact, the NAR says sales in so-called vacation destination counties have increased 34 percent year-over-year.However, supply is dwindling. The NAR estimates there is only about a 2.7-month supply of unsold existing homes given the current sales pace. That’s down from a 3-month supply in August and a 4-month supply from a year ago."There is no shortage of hopeful, potential buyers, but inventory is historically low," Yun said.
