(CNS) - Part of Disney California Adventure will open without rides Thursday but plenty of shopping and dining.Billed as an extension of Downtown Disney, Buena Vista Street will be gussied up for the holidays, offering socially distanced outdoor dining at favorite restaurants including Carthay Circle Lounge where Chef Andrew Sutton, culinary director of Signature Restaurants, says Al Fresco Dining at Carthay Circle Lounge will be "like sitting in a European sidewalk cafe.""We literally borrowed tables from some of the other restaurants," he said in remarks reported by the Orange County Register. "Then we started to get more serious about it, bringing in planters, and gardening, and making it look much more refined. The finished product is beautiful."Parts of the park are opening for retail and dining as an extension of the Downtown Disney District. Reservations won't be accepted, but a mobile wait list system will be in place when the restaurant is at capacity.Diners can choose to provide their name and mobile number to receive a text message when it's time to return. Mobile ordering will be available at Smokejumpers Grill and Award Wieners.Buena Vista Street will be open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There's no admission charge to enter and guests can park in the Simba lot as they do for Downtown Disney. An invasive bug called the lanternbug is causing several counties in New Jersey to go under quarantine.Officials with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture said the bug is not harmful to animals or humans, but it is potentially harmful to more than 70 plant species, including fruit trees, vegetables, and vines.“We have been working diligently to slow the advance of this bug,” Secretary Douglas Fisher said in a press release. “We are targeting areas where severe infestations have been confirmed, and we also encourage residents to destroy the Spotted Lanternfly if possible when they see it. An Arizona family is celebrating a major milestone. Baby Henley was born with a congenital heart defect or a hole in her heart. Weighing in at only 4 pounds and 7 ounces, there was a lot of concern about her health because she just would not eat."Because of the hole in her heart, she just could not eat, it was too difficult for her, so she struggled a lot to gain weight," said Megan Beebe, Henley's mother.So, from the age of 5 months old, Henley has relied on a feeding tube to get all of her nutrition."At one point, it was giving her 100% of her nutrition. We would put all of her formula, breast milk through the feeding tube," said Beebe.In her two years since she was born, Henley has had hundreds of doctor's appointments and five surgeries. She has also been working with a feeding therapist based out of the United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona. Henley does not have cerebral palsy, but her mother tells KNXV they really liked the specialized therapist they have been working with, so they have stuck with the organization."We just had to keep working our way up, until one day she ate an entire Cheeto Puff all by herself," said Beebe.That one Cheeto Puff was a big milestone for Henley."It took her about 10 full minutes to eat one Cheeto Puff but she ate the whole Cheeto Puff all by herself, did not throw up," said Beebe, talking about the relief they felt. They were finally able to see the light at the end of the tunnel of Henley's tough road to being able to eat without the aid of a feeding tube.After 27 months, Henley's feeding tube was finally removed. It was a big moment for Beebe. She tells KNXV she sometimes could not help but feel like a failure as a mother."Our number one job is to feed her and keep her alive, and we couldn't do that," said Beebe."The day we finally got to take her feeding tube out, it was like, it was just a miracle. An Idaho couple is now facing more charges in connection with the disappearance and deaths of two children.Chad Daybell now faces four felony charges for evidence destruction or concealment. Lori Vallow Daybell is facing two counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence, according to the iCourt Portal, in addition to other charges.The new charges come after Rexburg police served a search warrant at Chad Daybell’s Salem, Idaho home on Monday. Officers went into the house, exterior buildings, and were seen in the backyard with cameras. They left with brown evidence bags but it is not known if the search is tied to the new charges of conspiracy. Read the court documents here.Vallow Daybell has been in the Madison County Jail since March on two counts of felony desertion and nonsupport of children along with three misdemeanors. She’s been in the Madison County Jail on million bail.Idaho officials discovered the remains of 7-year-old JJ Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan. buried in Daybell's backyard on June 9. The two are Vallow Daybell's children. JJ and Tylee were reported missing in late 2019. Their remains were found in Rexburg, Idaho, in June on property owned by Daybell, their stepfather. The children's mother, Lori Daybell (née Vallow), was arrested in connection with their disappearance earlier this year.According to the probable cause affidavit for Daybell's arrest, the remains of one child was found wrapped in plastic and sealed with duct tape. (KGTV) — Guests were forced from the fastest ship in the galaxy at Disneyland Friday, after a massive earthquake struck Southern California.The magnitude 7.1 quake hit the Ridgecrest area about 160 miles east of the theme park just before 8:20 p.m. Video from Disneyland after the earthquake showed guests being evacuated from the park's Millennium Falcon ride in "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge."
