(CNN) - The maker of Taytulla birth-control treatment issued a nationwide recall in the United States on Tuesday over concerns that misplaced capsules in pill packs could cause unintended pregnancies.A physician reported that four placebo capsules were packaged in the wrong order where active capsules should have been, drugmaker Allergan said in a statement. The physician sample pack should have 24 pink capsules with hormones followed by four maroon capsules without hormones, Allergan said. Instead, the faulty pack had four maroon placebos at the start of the treatment."As a result of this packaging error, oral contraceptive capsules that are taken out of sequence may place the user at risk for contraceptive failure and unintended pregnancy," the statement said."The reversing of the order may not be apparent to either new users or previous users of the product, increasing the likelihood of taking the capsules out of order."Allergan said it is arranging for return of all sample pack products with the lot #5620706 Exp. May 2019. The drug maker urged patients to consult their physicians if they think they are affected by the recall. 1159

Fellowes hopes she'll shock companies into buying more comfortable desks and work stations. 580

(KGTV) - Disneyland isn’t just any theme park; its charm comes from the unique touches and hidden features that engage visitors. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is sure to delight fans with its ability to transport them out of this world. 10News explored the planet of Batuu and found features guests will want to experience on their first visit. Walt DIsney Imagineers who created the new land traveled to Morocco and Turkey to experience open-air markets to create the Marketplace section of Galaxy’s Edge. They also examined George Lucas’ private archives to study artwork by Ralph McQuarrie, who helped create the look of Star Wars. (KGTV) — Disneyland cast members, fans, and local officials rallied outside of Disneyland to call for California to reopen shuttered theme parks throughout the state.Demonstrators, with signs in hand blurring the line between Disney quotes and calls for action, gathered on Saturday to demand Gov. Gavin Newsom announce guidance for Disneyland and other theme parks to reopen amid the pandemic."If Disneyland is open world-wide then why can't Disneyland in Anaheim be open," one employee told KABC. "I think the governor needs to give us a chance to reopen and they keep asking and he keeps pushing the bar farther back."This month, Disney announced it plans to lay off 28,000 employees partially because of California's reluctance to reopen theme parks. The parks have been closed since mid-March when many coronavirus closures began. The guidance was reportedly set to be released soon in September, until Newsom said that the state will take its time before issuing rules."We are going to be led by a health-first framework and we’re going to be stubborn about it," Newsom said earlier this month. "That’s our commitment — that’s our resolve. We feel there’s no hurry putting out guidelines."Newsom added, "it’s very complex. These are like small cities, small communities, small towns. But we don’t anticipate, in the immediate term, any of these larger theme parks opening until we see more stability in terms of the data."Disney Chairman Bob Iger recently left the state's economic recovery task force, an early indication that business leaders for the industry could be at odds with the state over reopening.KABC and City News Service contributed to this report. 1677

(KGTV) -- Charles Butler visits homes in San Diego, but he is not trying to sell anything. Butler is a code compliance officer for San Diego Fire-Rescue and makes sure brush surrounding homes is not out of control. “It’s the hillside we’re really concerned about, the canyon rim location,” Butler said. It is Wildfire Awareness Week in California. Assistant Fire Marshal Eddie Villavicencio said approximately 40,500 homes in San Diego are canyon rim properties, next to native or naturalized vegetation. Legally, Villavicencio said those homeowners must have defensible space of 100 feet. Click here for a map of "very high fire hazard severity zones" in San Diego.RELATED: It's wildfire season! Here's how to prepare for the worstOver the last year from March 31, 2018 to April 30, 2019: 9,016 total number of brush and risk assessment inspections were conducted6,854 home were found to be in compliance on the first/initial inspection (approximately 76 percent)2,162 homes required 1 to 2 re-inspections before voluntarily compliance was achieved Only 1 home required forced abatement proceedings A CalFire spokesperson said 70 citations were issued throughout the state in 2018. Records from San Diego County show at least two properties had to do a third inspection last year. This year, no citations have been issued so far locally. “We get more homes in compliance than we do in violation,” Butler said of homes in San Diego. “Educating is the number one priority for us,” Villavicencio added. RELATED: Resource List: Are you prepared for a San Diego wildfire? If San Diego homeowners are found not to be in compliance, they receive a notice of violation. If they don’t comply, they can face a second violation. By the third time, the property owner could be fined 0 and ultimately, forced abatement meaning the City will clean up your home. Villavicencio said a special assessment lien could be placed on your property. Fortunately, it usually does not have to go that far. “People are more proactive and more willing to create that proper defensible space,” Villavicencio said. However, there are challenges including a lack of staffing. Villavicencio said they do not visit as many homes as they would like to per year. That is all the more reason to do your part. “That’s the intent of the defensible space. It’s keeping small fires small, it’s giving fire operations time to respond to the fire and the space to fight the fire,” Villavicencio said. 2472
