She said, 'I’m shaking,'" Rounds said. "I said. 'What’s wrong?' She said, 'The glove!'”The biggest question now is how did the mitt end up at a Jupiter Goodwill? After it turned up, Christopher told his parents he lost it after a championship baseball game in 1978 when he was 12 years old. He had hit two home runs during that game. He lost the glove afterward and hadn't seen it since.“He had won the championship and in the hullaballoo and the handing out of trophies he probably set it down on a bench and somebody walked away with it," Mike said.Julie Anne said she has donated to Goodwill before, but she has only donated used books. Even then, she's donated those up in Ohio because that's where their longtime house, and subsequent clutter from over the years, is located. A Goodwill representative said the company doesn't track specific items, but they do move them from store to store if they're not selling.Julie Anne hopes to figure out how exactly the glove made its way down the country.“To me, it’s a miracle," Julie Anne said. 2190

A Howard Johnson motel room was covered with so much dog feces and urine, a special crew wearing protective clothing had to be called in to clean and sanitize the room.It was those conditions Perkins Township, Ohio police say a mother and her 3-year-old year son were living in for a month."There was liquid urine and feces seeping from underneath the door," said Perkins Township Assistant Chief Vince Donald.Someone called the Erie County dog warden to check on the condition of dogs in the room.When the warden and police entered the room, they said the walls, floors and bedding were covered in dog feces.The bathroom had three inches of dog urine and feces on the floor. The boy was also covered in dog feces.Police contacted Erie County Children Services who had the child checked out at the hospital, then placed with a family member,The boy's mother, Dezeray Powell, 21, was arrested for animal cruelty and child endangering."The child had feces on his feet and clothes,” Donald said.Powell had been keeping three Great Danes inside the motel rooms small bathroom. The dogs were so malnourished their ribs were showing, authorities said.Erie County Dog Warden Barb Knapp said the dogs are getting fresh food and water and will be nursed back to health.The owner of the hotel said Powell would never let him in the room."We didn't know what was going on in the room, because she never let me in the room," Raghbir Virk said."It was pretty heartbreaking because the child, they don't have a choice. You as an adult make that choice, so that child doesn't have a choice to live in that environment," Donald said.Powell is scheduled to be arraigned in court April 10. The Great Danes will eventually be put up for adoption, but that’s months down the road because they have to rehabilitated. 1888

A Lyft driver accused of sexually assaulting a customer on April 24 has been arrested, police say.The woman told police that she had been sexually assaulted in the city of Pontiac, Michigan. At 5 p.m. on April 24, the victim contacted a Lyft driver she had previously used. The driver claimed he was the owner of a health spa and would give her 0 if she let him give her a massage and filled out a survey evaluating the massage afterward.The victim said Hanif also encouraged her to drink from an already opened container of Four Loko, an alcoholic beverage. She arrived at the alleged spa and said she felt as if she was 'buzzed.' At the end of the massage, the victim said Hanif offered her ,000 in exchange for sexual intercourse. The victim refused, at which time she was sexually assaulted by the suspect, police say. After, Hanif reportedly drove the victim back to her residence.Hanif was arrested on April 25 and lodged at the Oakland County Jail after being interviewed by detectives. During the investigation, detectives discovered he was listed as a possible suspect in a different sexual assault incident that occurred in December 2017.“The Detectives assigned to this case worked quickly and methodically in order to give this victim the justice she deserves,” Sheriff Michael J. Bouchard. “We will never tolerate behavior from those who commit sexual violence. I commend this victim for coming forward as she may have brought closure for other victims as well. As a result, the company has canceled its previously announced cruises for September. A drug used to euthanize animals has been found in canned dog food, prompting a recall.Low levels of the drug pentobarbital were detected in cans of Gravy Train dog food produced by the J.M. Smucker Company, the FDA said in a statement Friday. Pentobarbital is most commonly used as a sedative, anesthetic or to euthanize animals, it said."Pets that eat pet food containing pentobarbital can experience drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance, nausea, nystagmus (eyes moving back and forth in a jerky manner) and inability to stand. Consuming high levels of pentobarbital can cause coma and death," it said.The FDA said its preliminary evaluation of the testing results of Gravy Train samples indicated the low levels found were unlikely to pose a health risk to pets."However, any detection of pentobarbital in pet food is a violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act—simply put, pentobarbital should not be in pet food," it said. 'Single supplier' 984
