(KGTV) — National Geographic and Fox Networks will investigate astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson over allegations of sexual misconduct, according to reports.Accounts by two women were published Thursday, claiming Tyson misbehaved in a sexually inappropriate manner with them, according to Patheos.com. The women, a Bucknell University professor and former assistant to Tyson according to the accounts, both claimed the astrophysicist made inappropriate sexual advances toward them.Tyson has not commented on the allegations against him, according to the Associated Press. In a statement to the AP, the producers of the television show "Cosmo" said: "The credo at the heart of 'Cosmos' is to follow the evidence wherever it leads. (KGTV/CNS) - Evacuation orders remained in effect Tuesday in light of a fast-moving wildfire that erupted in the Cleveland National Forest the day before.The blaze dubbed the Holy Fire, is five percent contained and has burned at least 3,399 acres as of Tuesday evening, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The acreage was downgraded due to more accurate mapping, officials with the Cleveland National Forest said. A total of 10 helicopters and five air tankers are currently on scene assisting firefighters.  539

(KGTV) - Several big rigs overturned Wednesday along Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County as strong winds whipped through Southern California. Three trucks were pushed onto their sides by powerful gusts on both sides of the freeway. Video from KABC showed a truck moving through lanes, only to have winds lift the back wheels off the ground. (WFSB) - Most people would call dodgeball a harmless playground activity, but a team of Canadian researchers argue the game is a tool of oppression that can unfairly target students perceived as "weaker individuals."The group presented their argument Monday at a conference organized by the Canadian Society for the Study of Education in Vancouver, according to CTV News. They claim dodgeball – which requires players to eliminate their opponents by hitting them with rubber balls – teaches students to dehumanize each other and creates unsafe conditions in schools.“Dodgeball is the only game where the human is the target. No other games focus on it," study co-presenter Joy Butler, a professor at the University of British Columbia, told CTV News."It's tantamount to legalized bullying," she added.Butler worked alongside David Burns, a professor at the Kwantlen Polytechnic, and Claire Robson, a professor at Simon Fraser University.
