BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) -- China's electricity generation is rising at a faster pace after a significant increase in May, buoyed by growing demand, the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) said on Wednesday.
The Macao SAR government said in a statement that the law, formulated according to the specific situation in the HKSAR, has given full respect to the high degree of autonomy of the HKSAR and the basic rights and freedoms of its residents.
"The move not only undermines Chinese and U.S. firms' interests, but also hurts the interests of enterprises from other countries," the spokesperson said.
Emphasizing the importance of communication and coordination on macroeconomic policy, Wang called for openness in cooperation, and the completion of negotiations on bilateral investment agreements as scheduled.
To maintain stability in the six key areas and enhance protections in another six priority areas, the meeting urged effective delivery of all the relief policies on the fiscal, social security and financial fronts for supporting more than 100 million market entities, and instituting reforms in building a world-class and market-oriented business environment governed by a sound legal framework, to further stimulate market vitality.
