ESCONDIDO (CNS) - A 57-year-old man in a pickup truck was killed at a head-on collision in Escondido with a Honda Accord, a police lieutenant said Saturday.The crash involving the 2005 Honda Accord and a 1996 Toyota Tacoma occurred on Valley Parkway, north of Beven Drive, said Escondido police Lt. (KGTV) - A local driver is warning of an unusual encounter with a dark SUV Saturday night on a North County freeway.Dashcam video captured on Interstate 15 shows an SUV with a light bar across the top. Despite a new state law that prohibits the retail sale of cats, dogs and rabbits, except for rescues, Bark Avenue has continued to sell purebred and designer puppies. A passer-by spotted the dead person behind the tennis courts at Cotton Wood Creek near the intersection of Second and West B streets in Encinitas about 9:30 a.m., according to sheriff's officials. The deceased was described only as a while male, investigators said.Deputies searched the area and found no initial signs of injury or foul play.The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, and notify the family. 565
