(AP) -- Sheriff's officials in Florida say a 24-year-old South Carolina man is accused of invading the home of a WWE star near Tampa.Phillip Thomas II was arrested Sunday after officials say he entered the home of wrestler Sonya Deville, setting off a security alarm.Hillsborough Sheriff's officials say the 26-year-old victim, real name Daria Berenato, spotted Thomas on the property after the alarm rang and called 911 as she fled with a guest in a car.Arriving deputies found Thomas at the home with a knife, plastic zip ties, duct tape and mace. Cell phone video shows people pushing and shoving each other on the field. The violent scene unfolding in the middle of a soccer tournament in Temecula. A stampede of hundreds of parents and children running from what they thought was an active shooter. Erik Saur shared video in the moments before he grabbed his 9-year-old daughter. In the midst of the chaos, a man who had a camouflage duffel bag caused hysteria. “He rushes to the sideline and he pulls out the backpack and someone is telling him ‘don’t do it’ they said must have a weapon.”The man was detained by deputies for a short time. Investigators say there was no weapon, but the fear was real. The father of the child injured says his son will be okay. Coaches and parents plan to meet later this evening to discuss safety measures moving forward. TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — The United States has carried out its second federal execution this week, killing by lethal injection a Kansas man whose lawyers contended he had dementia. Wesley Ira Purkey was put to death Thursday at a prison in Terre Haute, Indiana. Purkey was convicted of kidnapping and killing a girl in Missouri and dismembering her body. He expressed remorse before his execution, saying he regretted the “pain and suffering” he caused. The victim's father says he hopes Purkey “rots in hell.” The Supreme Court cleared the way for Purkey's execution to take place just hours before. Another man, Daniel Lewis Lee, was put to death Tuesday, ending a 17-year hiatus on federal executions. TAMPA, Fla. — New court documents show a 3-year-old girl killed in a crash last month was not properly restrained.According to police, the mother, who was driving the car, pulled in front of another vehicle around 7:50 a.m. on January 16, near the intersection of North 40th Street and East Osborne Avenue.According to court documents, three children in the vehicle were in the car on booster seats, however, the booster and car seats were not secured to the vehicle. It's the law in Florida for children to be in a car seat until they turn four years old. Children must be in a booster until they are six years old. Failure to comply can result in a moving violation and about a 0 fine. If a child is injured or killed in a crash and was not properly restrained, child neglect charges can be filed.Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash on Jan. 18.
