But shortly after Anderson was charged with sexual assault in 2016, a Waco police spokesman spelled out details from the police reports."The female said that she had been at a party at a fraternity in South Waco. She said she was handed a drink of some kind of punch and was told, 'Here you go. Drink this,' " Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said, according to a March 2016 story in the Waco Tribune-Herald."She said shortly after that she became very disoriented, was taken outside by our suspect, who is Jacob Walter Anderson, and she said when they got outside, Anderson forcibly sexually assaulted her."In her victim impact statement, the woman said Anderson "repeatedly raped me orally and (vaginally).""When he forcefully picked me up and shoved me into a wall to rape me vaginally from behind he calmly and coldly said, 'It's fine. You're fine.' When I tried to pull up my pants or sit he shoved me to the ground and shoved his penis back down my throat and continued to choke me," the woman said."When he forced me up again and started to rape me vaginally again I blacked out permanently. When I was completely unconscious he dumped me face down in the dirt and left me there to die. He had taken what he wanted, had proven his power over my body. Facebook says it will start removing false claims about COVID-19 vaccines, in its latest move to counter a tide of coronavirus-related online misinformation.The social network said Thursday that it will take down any Facebook or Instagram posts with false information about the vaccines that have been debunked by public health experts.The U.S. tech giant is taking action as the first COVID vaccines are set to be rolled out.Facebook said it’s applying a policy to remove virus misinformation that could lead to “imminent physical harm.”Posts that fall afoul of the policy could include phony claims about vaccine safety, efficacy, ingredients or side effects.“For example, we will remove false claims that COVID-19 vaccines contain microchips, or anything else that isn’t on the official vaccine ingredient list,” Facebook wrote.The company says it will also remove conspiracy theories about COVID-19 vaccines that are known to be untruthful, like the falsehood that alleges specific populations are being used without their consent to test the vaccine’s safety.Facebook says it will not be able to start enforcing the new policies overnight.“Since it’s early and facts about COVID-19 vaccines will continue to evolve, we will regularly update the claims we remove based on guidance from public health authorities as they learn more,” wrote the company. 1363

(KGTV) -- Encinitas lifeguards are investigating after a Panga Boat washed ashore Friday afternoon.According to lifeguards, the 20-foot boat washed ashore around 4 p.m. on the 300 block of El Portal Street and about 11 people ran from the vessel.Lifeguards say they don’t believe anyone was injured or needed medical attention.Border Patrol, Homeland Security, and the Sheriff’s Department were all notified about the incident. (KGTV) — As San Diego County rolls back again into the more-restrictive purple tier, the city of Escondido is coming together to make sure their small businesses survive the newest rollback.In Escondido, Carol Rogers is involved with the Downtown Business Association and the Chamber of Commerce, plus she also owns Stone and Glass, a glass blowing shop. It’s what’s kept us in business. It is the only thing that’s kept us in business,” said Rogers.She said she and the organizations she works with have created different plans to help all small businesses. Some types of businesses were able to use the space, but others were not.“What we found is the restaurants did it. I works for the restaurants, but retail is not using the space,” she said, discussing the outdoor sidewalk addition.In the spirit of unity, they decided to not waste the outdoor space, so Rogers created an art walk that happened Saturday, Nov. 14. Artists and creators were able to move into unused street space and host pop-up shops, giving them business that has been missing since their local Second Saturday stopped in March.In addition to the stores moving outside and artists popping up for a Saturday afternoon, the community has also stepped up to add life to the cement barricades that block off the outdoor sidewalk space. Starting in the summer, a few cement blocks were painted by artists, and that has continued. Now, Grand Avenue is lined with multi-colored pieces of art.“There’s been professional artists, there’s been people that just want to paint, there’s children,” said artist Tristan Pittard, who was working on his cement canvas Saturday.Pittard said the art is an additional motivator for people to visit the area and support local businesses.“Art in general affects peoples psyche and public art is important for that because people might not be exposed to art otherwise,” said Pittard.For Rogers, the combination of the art walk with the painted cement shows the unity of the people, and gives her hope that Escondido will survive another rollback. FALLBROOK (CNS) - A 14-year-old Fallbrook High School student was arrested today for allegedly making an online threat to carry out a shooting at the northern San Diego County campus, authorities reported.The teen was taken into custody early Wednesday afternoon in connection with the menacing social media post, which came to light Monday evening and included a photograph of a gun, according to sheriff's officials.``No weapons were found at the juvenile's residence, and it is believed the suspect had no intention of actually following through with a shooting,'' Sgt.
